It will go bang when you pull the trigger, and has all the functionality of the SR9 minus the annoying loaded chamber indicator. It does not come with basic accessories like a spare magazine or actual case. For an entry level "economy" pistol it is fine. Better than other firearms at the same price point, plus you get Ruger warranty and customer service.

Sure, it is not a CZ or a Glock, which will make it harder for you to be an insufferable fan boy faggot, but you may still have fun with it.

Picked up a used 9E at a pawn shop for $280. Comes with 1 mag, nice sights. Remove the mag disconnect and this gun is fucking rad. Would buy again I had one malfunction so far with tons of aluminum ammo being fired.

What's a good price on a new one? Is $360 too much?
