Still not sure on what mag to use.

My sks is the svd scope mount and scope which blocks the use of the irons, so I have to go mag fed.

And m14 mag lips are too short to feed.


Any ideas?

i can tell you one thing the most reasonable thing is ak magazine conversion but thats still alot of work.Just use duckbill mags if you dont want any work or just use the fixed 10 round mag.

I really want to find of those M1 Carbines that was bubba'd into .357 magnum, but conversions are quite rare now.

I'm trying to use what I have currently since ak mags are expensive in canukistan.
The bolt just scrapes right over the rounds, I think I could inlet the "magwell" on the sks just enough to give proper height without risking structural integrity.

And the sks was messed up and not matching so nothing of value was lost.
