Can't believe no one had mentioned Florida yet. The way I see it, there are two very different possibilities:

1. Florida becomes it's own entity, much like Texas probably would.

2. Florida breaks up, with different areas joining different factions. North Florida and the Panhandle would join New Dixie. The West Coast has a bunch of Midwesterners, but it doesn't seem like they join the Plains Confederacy, it's just too far away geographically. Central Florida has a lot of Puerto Ricans and Muslims, so fuck knows about that one. South Florida is also hard to predict. Lots of old retired Jews from NY and NJ, fuckton on Central American immigrants, conservative old Cubans, liberal young Cubans, and of course Trump.

No matter what, though, I don't see any scenario where Florida joins a faction in its entirety. The only way Florida remains whole would be if it became it's own faction .
