My P226 has a 5" barrel, more or less. and has 18 round flush fit mags. at least 20 round mags available

I guess if you desperately want an HK rollmark, then it's fine, but otherwise it's been neutered to oblivion and back by German restrictions before HK was even allowed to release it. They can't even make a full sized version for the civilian market.

The Turk/Paki clones that have been around for years are functionally identical and cosmetically they're far closer to an actual MP5 (and unlike the SP5k they actually accept all surplus parts). The only downside to them is that you're giving money to shitskin terrorists.
