Is it safe to buy solvent traps and the like? I truly want something cheap but I see that all the ones on eBay seem to be 100 dollars or so and thats really expensive.
On an unrelated note how would one drill centered holes into freeze plugs and do they need to be pressed into a cone? Can you do so with no drill press or hydraulic press?
As for the mods who deleted my last thread on solvent traps, they are entirely legal and break no rules. So fuck off hotpockets.

They'll put you on a watchlist if you buy those, it doesn't take a genius to understand what their deal is, I wouldn't try to do anything with the thing until I had the paperwork.
But even then, they have argued that it's constructive intent for you to have a solvent trap or maglite kit while they process your form 1 so I would be careful about stepping on their toes on that, they're not called dog killers just for laughs.

Legally, I'd hold on getting your supplies until you get your form back.
From an end user perspective, it'll work, but I wouldn't use one for like a .223 rifle or .308 rifle.
In the end it really would be better to invest in a properly manufactured silencer, it'll just be better.
Now, if the HPA ends up passing, then it's a bit of a different story, then you'd have no registration shit or extra tax and it'd be a really cheap silencer.

Can you buy the supplies at any stores? I'd imagine it would be better than ordering online.
I'm not sure how much of what they sell is special made versus general purpose.
