I'm looking to buy an AUG or at least price one out, but I'm incredibly confused since it seems there's a million options
I'm trying to sift different pages but again, it's all less than available

I'd love to have pic related but I can't seem to find a place to get the original optic and they have that horrendous picatinny rail on the newest ones

Anyone know what I can do?

I'd also like it to take original AUG mags instead of AR mags

Pls halp AUG anons

oh and if anyone has a line on a 20 inch barrel with a bipod as well that'd be awesome

>only option is a 24 inch

I though it was 20?
>>
anyone?

pls '_'
>>
>>33777437
The bipod is only a feature of the 24", and are very rare.
>>
Your criteria aren't going to work.
Only the A3 NATO can take AR magazines, and as far as I know they aren't compatible with A1 receivers.

So either you lurk gunbroker for months waiting for someone to put an A1 up for ~2-3K, or you are going to buy an A3 Nato for ~$1,600.
>>
>>33778169
no you dummy I want Steyr mags

Cucked

looking at that now actually

guy on armslist has one for $1400 so I wanna see if he's still selling or if it's a scam

My big problem is I want to build this 9mm AR I've been itching for too but a pre ban AUG would be extra tiddies
>>
I've been wanting an AUG since I first learned what a bullpup was.
I want the AR mag variant though. As I don't want to buy more mags when I already have a couple dozen AR mags.
Can my fellow AUG enthusiasts agree that the F2k,Tavor, x95 can suck a nut.?
>>
>>33778280
I have AR mags as well but I don't really care one way or the other
Just magazines

Ye
FS2K is a solid second place though
>>
>>33778292
Well for me, I dont care for any 5.56 gun that doesnt use STANAG mags.
I guess you're only interested in a classic AUG.
>>
>>33778329
that and 42 round mags
>>
>>33778325
I've heard good things about them.
But I hate how hollow they feel, and the toilet seat thing.
It just looks bulbous to me while the AUG looks streamlined.
And the Tavor is so overhyped right now it's hard to tell if they're actually good or not. Also hate the butt heavy "feature"

They rule
I haven't found a comparable AR mag that holds as many as they do, while being translucent.
>>
>>33778341
OP here
I hate having to push my wrist forward on bullpups but I don't seem to have much issue wiht the AUG in that department
>>
>>33778341
I feel you
my AUG, with the 20", balances at or just forward of the grip, it is damn comfortable.

Nice variable scope, Red dot, or acog
>>
>>33778512
th-those are going to come off before long...
>>
>>33778521
not really
it's the 5 inch sight radius I'd be worried about
>>
>>33778512
Might look into it

>>33778519
I realy like red dot optics. I think a good red dot would be the best.
>>
>>33778523
I'm
>>33778345
and I'm embarassed about the mbus on my rifle, I haven't had a reason to replace them
>>
>>33778527
are you getting the flat top?
>>
>>33778529
I had been joking about them on top of the factory optic
>>
>>33778534
oh kek
>>
>>33778531
I think so. The only shop in my area that is selling AUGs has two with no optics. Not even irons
>>
>>33778541
At the rate they cost I'll just buy online
>>
>>33778548
Yeah i was thinking the same. Little cheaper and nobody has fondled them. Unlike my L85
>>
>>33778561
my point is that the cost of a transfer is a drop in the bucket compared to the cost

And you don't own an L85

come again

I'd still want an AUG

He's talking about the F90
Australia's new AUG clone
>>
>>33778631
doesn't Steyr make that exact thing?
>>
>>33778635
its like an modernized fork of the AUG.

how so?

I'm an aug too
>>
>>33778674
http://www.recoilweb.com/preview-lithgow-arms-atrax-bullpup-117222.html

I've just seen vids of it. It would be neat to get, but I foresee it being a blip. too much, for too little, and too late to the party.
>>
>>33778683
I had thought about zero with changeable barrels

To the owners out there, how much does it change when you pull it out and put it back on?

Enough that you really need to bench and adjust?
>>
>>33778688
I'm sure it holds pretty well.
But I would still check zero if you can.
>>
>>33778690
I'm just wondering if it'd be a foot off at 100 yards
>>
>>33778692
Uhh, no. Highly doubt that.
If that's the case, then you got other problems.
>>
>>33778695
if it's all of an inch at 100 I'm not too worried about it considering it's a 1.5x optic anyway
>>
>>33777418
>http://www.pjs-steyraug.com/augusrparts.html
this site looks so fucking shady
>>
>>33778701
it looks like it was designed in 1998 by the guys 8th grader grandson, who learned how to make sites with geocities and hasnt been much upgraded since.
>>
>>33778701
It's got that early 2000's feel.
I feel like Ask Jeeves would send me here.
>>
>>33777392
The shitty blue AUGs we trained on in JOCT were fucking terrible. The magazines fell out all the damn time.
>>
>>33778701
I've bought two AUGs from him. He definitely has the best selection of AUGs on the internet and the lowest prices. As you can tell by the 90s geocities tier site, there's no online payment. You have to email or call about ordering.
