So I sold my beat up pitted k31 for 500(50 dollar profit) and got another k31 for 450 total.
It's in emasculate condition.
I'd say the bluing is 85 to 90 percent.
The stock is also in really good condition.
And the rifling, the rifling is pristine.
The throat grooves are super sharp and thick, and so is the end of the barrel.
I'll take a photo.
It's a 1943 walnut model all matching.
>emasculate condition
I didn't know you had to neuter rifles.
>>33777080
*immaculate*
Also I think California has such a requirement.
>>33777096
touche.
That said this latest round goes beyond neutering. Staying off the registry and legal means making a transrifle.
>>33777260
what grip is that?
>>33777260
So is the bipod there to get around the assault foregrip ban?
Speaking of k31's, mine has a serial that goes to 54 but the stock is dated 12 and everything is the same serial (the two numbers on the stock match everything else). did they find a surplus of walnut around that time or did they just re serialize older ones?
>>33777047
Nice gun pal, it come with a soldier tag under the buttstock? There's still a chance the old owner might still be around.
Love my nurse gun, the bluing is absolutely fucking pristine and the bore is mirror clean, all matching.
Bump
The k31 is the only surplus rifle that activates my almonds.
What are all the available calibers for it?
Has anyone successfully converted for another caliber?
>>33779184
>What are all the available calibers for it?
7.5 swiss. but if a wizard could convert it to 45-70 i would be broke.
>>33777309
The Cuckā¢ Grip
>>33779193
Yeah, that's the only reason I didn't pick one up yet. Damn
>>33779184
Why would you buy surplus if you don't like the caliber? That's like wanting to put a diesel engine in a Corvette.
>>33779232
I had a bunch of 44 mags before sandy hook. I'll never do it again. If there isn't bulk steel cheap Russian ammo available it's not worth it.
>>33779239
Thank God I reload and don't have to worry about such trivial concerns.
>>33779231
It's unrealistic that anyone one will convert it to 45-70. But I'd still get one, gp11 is one hell of a round and fucking cheap!
>>33779248
I'm close to starting, seen a lot of reloading videos and have a few books. Some 120-130 grain caliber like 6.5 creedmoore,Grendel, or 7mm-06 are nice. Wolf ammo currently has really cheap grendal ammo, kinda seeing if it picks up or fades out of popularity first.
'49 that I got from Gander Mtn in 2015. They had it marked up as a K11 and I got it for $300.
>>33779248
no one cares about you tripfaggot
There's a milsurp thread already up, you are not a special snowflake.
>>33779344
Ok.
>>33779265
You should, especially if ammo availability is important to you.

>>33779363
>Windows Phones
Don't get one anon.
>>33779418
That and beech wood are two of things I'm trying to keep out of my life.
>>33779445
Beech is fine.
>>33779465
And Walnut is better.
>>33777047
> emasculate condition
Surplus matches it's collectors now, who knew.
>>33779470
...and bolts on the later rifles are better.
>>33779598
>>33777047
Pff mine is way better.
>Tfw non issued K31 made in the 1970s
>>33779155
>being this autistic to the point of contacting someone that is either dead or could give two shits about the rifle.
Who K11 here?
>>33781259
>Being this mad that he never managed to find the guy his rifle was issued to
>>33781233
slick rifle and cheek riser.
gay bipod and butt plate.
7/10
>>33781795
It's modded for sports shooting.
My rifle is not a safe queen.
>>33781859
