Do Commiefornia and other fixed-lock AR states finally have a solution to uncuck ARs?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3zVenCG3eX8

They only way to uncuck it is the lift the stupid ass laws so normal people don't have to go to extreme lengths to get as close to normal functioning with breaking the law as it's currently written, knowing it'll soon change again

There's no reason to hide them. A regular AR, broken in half, is perfectly legal to own in CA, as long as it remains in pieces.

All these compliance devices are for when you take the firearms out in public, to shoot.

>As used in this part, “large-capacity magazine” means any ammunition feeding device with the capacity to accept more than 10 rounds

California recently attempted to enact regulations stating that a dual magazine firearm has a large-capacity magazine if the total cartridges held is >10 and feeding switches between magazines automatically. The method they went about it was improper, so the regulations were withdrawn, but the interpretation of the law does not seem to be faulty. It's likely if anyone came up with a feeding device like what you describe, it would be found to be illegal.

The State did not take issue with dual magazines totaling more than ten rounds, as long as the individual magazines held ten or less, and feeding was switched manually. So that is an option.

>but shall not be construed to include any of the following:
>(a) A feeding device that has been permanently altered so that it cannot accommodate more than 10 rounds.
>(b) A .22 caliber tube ammunition feeding device.
>(c) A tubular magazine that is contained in a lever-action firearm.

You could, hypothetically, build a tube-fed .223 AR, with multiple tubes.

With or without regulations to clarify the issue, an AR broken in half is not a semi-automatic, centerfire rifle, as configured. CA "feature" Assault Weapons law works the same way as the NFA does for SBRs, not silencers or machine guns. It's only illegal when it's assembled.

For the moment featureless guns are still ok but past June 1st you can't legally own mags over 10rds (or more specifically you can't go out in public with them unless you live in a based rural area).

So featureless will still be kicking around but the main reason people built them is disappearing barring any rapid lawsuit progression in the next few months. So the options now are featureless with detachable 10rd or a featured with "fixed" 10rd which means either the MA loader, shotgunning your upper to drop the mag, or another solution that meets the increasingly bullshit regulations.

One of the San Bernardino Shooters AR-15 was bullet buttoned and they had a laundry sack full of ten round magazines.

Some say this was the reason for the push for the bullet button ban.
>>

it's either that or a rifle grip

I really don't understand the hate for AR rifle grips, it looks weird but it works.
>>
>>33782118
This, I used to hate kydex wraps, but I can actually run my gun faster with it versus fumbling with the button.
>>
>>33782154
Further in a SHTF while removing the bullet button isn't a long ordeal or major gunsmithing, with a kydex wrap you can just rip it off if need be and the only cuckery is not having an adjustable stock (some guys in non ban states are really liking the MOE FCS for more stable platform) and having a muzzle break instead of flash hider.

Go featureless folks

MOE Fixed Carbine Stock

MOE Grip or MOE + Grip

Kydex Grip Wrap

Surefire Pro Comp

Cheap and no gun smithing, save for the muzzle device.

Nigga what? Magazines and reloading equipment need no permit. Next year online sales are banned, yes. But you will only need that gay ass permit to buy ammo. They also criminalized "straw purchases" of ammo, so if you're friend needs a brick of .22, it's a felony. You run out of ammo and need a couple boxes of 5.56 from your friend at the range? Felony .
>>
>>33782105
Also fun fact: that guy bought an AR-15 from the gun shop I work at. He was cool as a cucumber and everything, even signed up for the NRA. Was clean as a whistle. But that was over 5 years before the crime happened, and the day after a BUNCH of ATF dudes asked everyone one of us questions

Not entirely true. In MA you can buy Pre ban semi auto ar15's for 2-4k. You can buy pre Healy ban but post 1994 legal ar15's for like 1-1.5k but ONLY from a private transfer, no ffl's. Only difference is that you need a License to carry for any semi auto practically because if they have ever been sold with a 10+ mag then they ALL qualify as "high capacity weapons" which fall under Ltc regulations.

The rifles used to carry out the San Bernardino 2015 shooting, were nothing like CA-complient autoloader rifles at the time, once the terrorists were done with them.

They removed the bullet buttons from at least one of their straw-purchased AR-15s, attempted to convert the other to a fully automatic rifle, and used standard capacity magazines (which are illegal in California).

http://www.scpr.org/news/2015/12/04/56040/san-bernardino-shooting-update-rifles-used-in-atta/

This is a perfect example of how criminals will get the tools they want to carry out their acts, if they are determined enough, despite what the law says. (in California, with it's absurd gun laws, no less)

But no, punish responsible and law-abiding gun owners instead, by introducing stricter laws, because of a significant terrorist attack (with already highly illegal weapons at the time) that showed such strict laws in general, made no difference.

Are they just trying to keep the guns away from all the lower lifeforms?
>>
>>33781302
>You can get hit with "intent to construct" if someone finds your non-neutered AR halves.
No, you can't. Such a crime does not exist in California.
>>
Why not just use regular stripper clips?

Why did they design it to use bulky, expensive, proprietary stripper clips when there are already millions of cheap metal ones available?
>>
>>33781387
>Eh, in the south there is thanks to the cartels, they are drug checks.
No. The inland checkpoints in Southern CA are Federal, immigration checkpoints. They are run by the Border Patrol. All the States that border Mexico have them.

>Also there are stories of ATF agents just hanging out at Nevada or Arizona gun stores and then following cars that have CA plates.
Which are bullshit, because the ATF doesn't enforce California state law.

>>33789042
>There are state border checks in CA at major interstates and freeways
They're agriculture checkpoints. California is very concerned about importation of pests and diseases. All they ask you about is if you're importing agricultural products.

>>33789070
>you so much as mention the idea of an armed protest at Sac-Town on CalGuns and the response is always the same
It's illegal to open carry firearms. The only people that could legally go armed would be CCers, which would defeat the purpose of CCing, and look no different than an unarmed protest.

>Normalization.
Neckbeards OCing to coffee shops for that very reason is why OC is banned now.
>>
>>33789671
California AWB. Since the rifle has a pistol grip, telescoping stock, and flash hider, it must have a magazine that cannot be removed without disassembly of the firearm action.
>>
>>33789742
>Neckbeards OCing to coffee shops for that very reason is why OC is banned now.

For how many years now have most Californians been buying, transporting, and shooting guns like it's a dirty little secret? We stick to the shadows and keep our heads down and how far has that gotten us? A city dweller hears their coworker owns a gun and the first thing they think of is a mass shooting. That's where we are now and that's how these asinine laws get passed.
>>
>>33789826
So invite a noguns acquaintance to the range. Introduce them to the joys of firearms.

But this is a state where the majority of the population supports banning guns. Antagonizing every single suburbanite that crossed your path by open carrying an AR15 to Subway is about the dumbest thing you could do to advance gun rights. All it accomplished was making gun control advocates aware they hadn't banned that, yet. So they did.

Don't worry, once CAHSR is built all the Californians will move back to the cheap townhomes built in Fresno, Bakersfield, and Palmdale. Everything from Redding to Tijuana will be paved over with strip malls, suburban housing and office parks. The same goes for all the shit that moved to Texas, they all want to move back because property taxes are so high there (whereas in CA they're capped at 1% of the year the house was purchased).

There's no difference between Federal and State gun control. It's all unreasonable. It's all an infringement. Defiance of either comes with 10 years of imprisonment, if you're caught. You comply, just the same as I do. You talk big, on the internet, about other people risking their freedom. But you're unwilling to nut up. So, please, shut up.

This is literally what happened in NYC, but on a statewide scale.

Only lower Manhattan used to be packed to the brim, with everything north of mid-town still being farmland.

Once the BMT, IRT, and BRT started building the subway and elevated trains further noth, buildings went up like weeds.

Before long the entire island was covered.

Literally, if you build it, they will come.

You really think no one here has Less Than Legal firearms?

The point, which you pulled us away from, is us Californian gun owners need to come together and organize demonstrations to show our numbers. I know that's sounds scary to you so stay home.
>>
>>33781574
In this case, yeah, they're clips.

>You really think no one here has Less Than Legal firearms?
It's a good thing all posts here are works of fiction, because that sounds awfully close probable cause for a warrant.

>is us Californian gun owners need to come together and organize demonstrations to show our numbers
What does showing that we're a minority of the population accomplish?

If your rifle was purchased in 2014 or later just register and have an AW. They already kept your DROS and know you have an AR.

You think if they come for ARs they aren't coming for your shitty one?

Did anyone watch Trump speak at the NRA?

Any mention of stepping on California's dick for being a bunch of anti-gun faggots?

The stupid ones think this will actually effect crime.
The smart knows know it won't, but they're petty tyrants who hate freedom (and I type that without any intended irony). They hate guns, hate you for liking guns, hate that guns allow people to defend themselves and not have to suckle the government teat, and they want to be able to make you a criminal at any time for no reason at all.
>>
>>33793450
No, they are just scared of ppl with guns.
>>
>>33793037
Hopefully I move to Riverside and buy a cheaper but decent house, before this CAHSR project is finished.

Are people overestimating it?

And I've also heard it's going to be finished in the 2030s.
