The box says non-corrosive, but from some people on forums have reported that hey are corrosive. These posts were all made in 2013. Has the ammunition changed?

Senpai just spend 4 more bucks on real ammo
>>33773716
what do you recommmed? i will throw these in the trash. i also bought wolf hollow point. should those be alright corrosion and performance wise?
>>33773742
Wolf and Tulammo are noncorrosive iirc.
>>33773742
Golden Tiger, lacquered, sealed and up to spec, she won't let you down
thanks a lot guys!
>>33773704
just clean your shit senpai
It takes like 5-10 to do the minimum cleaning required after firing shit ammo

I remember that too, and it wasn't just them.
But I haven't seen any corrosive primer screwups batches in a looooooong-ass time now.
Red army is ok stuff, but I'll only buy golden tiger personally.
>>33773756
All commercial stuff is.
>>33773704
No, they're not corrosive.
However there was a bug recall because some corrosive stuff got mixed in accidentally at one point a few years back.
It's good shit.
No it's not as cheap as tulammo, nor as accurate and kickass as golden tiger, but it's a nice middle ground between accuracy and money for AK food.
red army, wolf, and golden tiger all cost the same. am i missing something?
>>33776348
Huh.
I've always found RAS to be a dollar or two cheaper than GT and a buck more than Wolf but a bit more accurate than wolf.
>>33773704
Just dirty
>>33773742
Dude, even if they are corrosive, and i highly doubt they are, corrosive is fine, just clean your damn rifle after use
>>33773704
I exclusively fed RAS shit to my WASR for the first three months of owning it, because I had collected a bunch of it anticipating owning an AK, and because it wouldn't eat Wolf for some reason.
Never once had corrosion issues. What I did think was weird is that my Mosin-Nagant hates RAS 54r.
As >>33774035 said, it's very fucking dirty. If you're able to shoot in low light, you can even see a difference in the muzzle flash and powder burn compared to other ammunition.
I won't refuse to use RAS 7.62 Soviet, but my WASR runs on a steady diet of Barnaul ammo I buy in bulk, so there's not much reason for me to buy RAS anymore.
