yes it would. Island hopping would be too much like vietnam so that is out. Playing as the soviets at stalingrad or berlin would have been much better. Like this anon said Axis in north africa or eastern front would also be awesome. I think the main issue is that most americans dont know much about those parts of WWII I mean I didnt even know there was an eastern from in WWII until it was mentioned in a small blurb in a history book when I was 13. That part of history as well as most of the Korean war is forgotten by most american history classes in public school.
