I load my mags before I go shooting so I don't have to fuck around with em in between shooting. A lot of ranges don't let you load mags when they go cold so I waste "range hot" time loading mags when I really wanna focus on shooting.

That second mag fits on top of the first one in that container on the right, btw. If you're overly concerned, or else you're the kind of guy that likes to bring a shitload of pre-loaded mags to the range, then get one can for loaded mags/ bullets and throw the unloadeds into a backpack (or another can) when you're done.

Really isn't worth buying ammo bulk unless you're prepared to store it for the long haul.

I just use a fat fifty ammo can as a range bag. I have two, and between them, I can carry all my ammo, mags, eye pro, random crap like stripper clip guide, lube, spare in-ear earpro for whoever forgot theirs today, and usually a couple pistols, otherwise, ear pro, and binocs. Ear pro usually does have a hard time fitting though, but I prefer to put it on in the car anyway, so that works.

Ammo cans are fucking amazing.
