My country is Norway. If you look close you will find that most the uniforms - on the pics I post anyway - have a small red rectangle with a blue on white cross in the middle. Also we have a woodland-derived three color camo that is fairly easy to recognize once you have seen it a few time. But we also have a variation with more khaki that we use for the middle east operations. Beyond that, and the guns of course, we have a massive number of blondes who like to the braid thing. The camo has too much khaki for use in Norway, and too little for the ME operations. Also the ankle end is elastic. However, it could be that a) I am simply so behind that this now regular issue and I have not had time to notice - none of the ones of this camo in my collection have elastic ankle end - or b) that this is a knockoff, but still is allowed with the unit. We have so many small special service units now that it is hard to keep track.

It's a slightly weird bunch but everyone who works there seem to know their stuff. The prices are a bit above fun level for my taste, but they always have some cheap stuff so I don't leave emptyhanded. Other countries' armies (/NATO?) train for quick, offensive operations and occupations.
Finnish defense forces are for, duh, defense, and the firm's main focus is a potential long-lasting, nation-wide defensive campaign, which quite literally tends to mean going and LIVING innawoods, 24/7. All that tac-shit will be useless when it's -30 degrees celsius, weather conditions can change any time and very dramatically, and closest thing to a "maintenance" you have is a ranger tent and a wood stove, all which your squad logs around.

At first glance I wanted to say an M-10 vest, made for Norway by NFM. But it looks like armor plates are part of it, which could mean they are an option for high risk missions like Afghanistan or simply are a vest worn under the M-10. Depending on how old the pic is it could be an earlier CV-1. I don't have much info to work with sadly. Either way our ME units get the best of the best and tests new stuff out as well.
