APILAS 112mm AT rocket launcher.

The amount of smoke caused by the launch was such that you would have been spotted by everyone on the battlefield and annihilated by return fire.

Other than that, it was pretty effective in its intended role, if a bit short-ranged.

Might be worth noting that in Finnish Defense Forces shooting Apilas was commonly referred as "the most manly thing that one can do while wearing pants".

Apilas came with a green-grey leather mask permanently attached to the weapon next to the optical sight. The mask was folded and the idea was that before firing a shooter was expected to first unfold it and it use it as face protection.

My dad had a Sauer shotgun when I was a kid. The recoil wasn't special for a 12 gauge but the finger 'protection' was. It was narrow, thin, and sharp. Didn't break off fingers, but cut into the flesh hard enough that you could get an actual gash if you didn't watch it. He got rid of it pretty soon.

Any poorly done 1903 sporter in .30-06 loaded with 220 grain ammo. My sporter is pretty brutal because of how light the stock is and the light contour barrel.

Light as fuck +heavy bullet = pretty impressive recoil for .30-06.


I've shot .338 lapua out of an MRAD and that is a cake walk.


.416 rigby is pretty impressive as well if you want to abuse your shoulder.
