Local axe shop sells this for 90$.
Idk what material it is,but looks nice.
Should I buy?
that is some truly amateur metalworking
>>33729360
Looks kinda shit in my opinion but my opinion shouldn't matter to you. If you like it and deem it worthy of bartering your personal cache of banknotes for then go for it.
>>33729360
how many varieties of axes does the shop contain?
>>33729360
I'd get that for twenty tops.
No you retard, $90 is granfors bruk kinda money. Don't go wasting your money on stupid shot!!!
>>33729360
If you want it, but I would prefer something with actual grip material on it. Also depends on what it's made of, ask them.
>>33729414
Listen to anon, get yourself a nice gransfors.
IDK anything about axes but the thing in the OP you could craft yourself. If you REALLY want it, haggle for it. I doubt anyone else is gonna buy that.
Or just use your 90 bucks on quality shit like those other anons said.
>>33729360
That axe is worth 25$ at most
>>33729360
20-30 bucks. There's also a reason most axes that are used for actual work have wooden handles, keep that in mind when you buy stuff.
>>33729360
You have an axe shop. . . Is what youre telling me right now.
>>33729360
>local axe shop
?????
Even in my logging town where 90% of people are lumberjacks, there still isn't an axe shop, more a general purpose chainsaw and logging shop.
>>33729360
I might spend 90 on this, but certainly not what you posted.
That shiny thing need alot of work, it needs its entire blade surface ground down to a narrower angle to truly make it sharp. And you're going to have to paracord a handle on it yourself.
>>33729655
>>33729807
My guess...
I think you should "axe" them for a discount!
BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!
>>33729931
YOu and OP can both fuck right off, get yourselves an axe that you can actually use. Fuck you can even find old husqvarnas at garage sales and shit for like $5, stop buying useless hatchet, useless knifes and mall ninja ARs and buy quality proven shit that's simple and will last.
>>33729968
You know the rules buddy, no bad post. Now up against the tree.
You can clearly tell OP is just an amateur axe maker and is gauging the market.
OP if you want my advice get into forging and make good axes that are cheaper then gransfors and moras, like city council price range.
>>33729968
Please, give me a call when you think you're anywhere near my level.
>>33730471
Bitch you're not even in the same dimension as me.
>>33729360
I shouldn't have to tell you if you're not a moron: No.
It's one fucking piece of metal, cut out and with holes drilled and the edges rounded. How the fuck would anywhere near $90 worth of materials or labor have gone into making that?
>>33729360
Those would actually be decent (and very comfortable) metal fingerholes. If only their individual positions on the handle weren't complete shit, you might have a decent punch-axe on tap, but no. Don't waste your money, not even for the looks. Maybe 15$ tops, it doesn't even look sharp (although maybe $30-$35 if it actually *is* sharp, but good luck with that handle buddy.)
>Local axe shop
It's going to be incredibly uncomfortable to do any actual work, and the grinds look rather poorly done. I wouldn't spend $90 on it
>>33732416
Or better yet don't waste your money on retarded shit and learn to sharpen axes.
>>33729360
>90$
I hope that's fucking dog dollars.
