Hold the can extremely close to the rail, you don't want any paint to miss after all. Now hold down the sprayer with firm, deliberate pressure and SLOWLY move the can along the length of the rail. This will give you full coverage in a single, even coat. You don't want to move too fast or you may apply the paint too thin. Handguard is Centurion CMR MLok. Hoping to be able to use front QD socket with light sitting above it at 1oclock. Not sure if QD swivel is going to interfere or not though.

Sup /arg/ I'm going to buy the Kahles K16 1-6x scope for my AR and I can't make my mind on which reticle I want. The SM1 reticle is cool and all but it seems maybe a bit too cluttered. The G4B reticle on the other hand has got weird BDC lines which aren't in MILS. I'm also going to put it on my 30-06 rifle for driven hunting. Any opinions?

What is the best first aid bundle to get for a rig? I'm not trained in medical triage so I'd like the most practical "idiot with a tourniquet" setup. This quick clot stuff seems pretty handy. Sprinkle it on a wound and wrap it in gauze and call it good.

I don't do social media but I do go hard on linkedin (was really useful in my previous positions in sales). It's a pretty great resource for job finding now too. Also a great way to seek out and make contact with recruiters. If I turn on the "seeking new opportunities" switch on the jobs side of linked in I get 20 messages a week from recruiters wanting to talk about opportunities. Might be harder given your lack of current position, but get creative, make it look like you've been busy doing something...anything really.

I also recommend zip recruiter. Put some time into your resume, upload it there and you can apply to 50 jobs a day in a single click. It even sends you alerts when your resume has been viewed.

I like the Dan Wessons (among other custom 1911s), but have never really wanted to invest that much into a pistol that doesn't perform all that much better.

The TRP fits neatly into that "semi-custom" category and the price is right. Would probably end up selling the MC Operator and not have to invest much on top to get into a TRP, not that I'm going to notice that much of a functional difference.

Main thing I dislike about the older MC Operator models like the one I have is the lack of a front strap. Hence why those rubber wrap around grips are standard.

I thought the Dan Wessons were a good $500 more on average, but I haven't price shopped in a while.

The MC Operator has been entirely reliable as far as 1911s go. Feed it good ammo and it shoots all day. Not real picky about mags either, given I generally only use Wilson or Chips these days.
