Ahoy is more oriented towards video games, Which is good since he goes into the history, development, and cultural impacts. the Nuclear Fruit series was really good.
With the Iconic Arms series, you're probably not going to learn too much that couldn't be found with a basic search, but you will be entertained by the graphics and soothed by his awesome voice.

Actually the AR57 is an improvement on it, you can even slap it on a lower with one of those double fire triggers or a slidefire stock.

I really love the 5.7mm caliber but it just doesnt have enough punch. Someone needs to come up with an upgrade on it - stronger case web, uses 5.56mm projectiles, same profile case so it fits in these high tolerance magazines. Also the bullets need to be coated in something to reduce barrel friction, such as tungsten di-sulphate or teflon.

I think the 5.7 could be bolstered up to .30 carbine level firepower which would make it worthwhile for the niche its designed for.

Getting 2300fps out of a EPR tipped 5.56 in a smaller package would definitely be viable, and accurate out to at least 300 yards. Since you're getting standard 50 rounds per magazine which can be underloaded to 45 for performance. And pistol magazines that start out at 20.
