Canada didn't exist as a nation until 1867, on top of the fact that we were a dominion until 1965.

1/10 for making me reply. In reality, the British moved on to besiege Baltimore in order to take the city and allow for relief from reinforcements straight from Britain. Unfortunately for them, Fort McHenry held out until American reinforcements arrived and pushed the invasion force back into Ontario. Seriously dude, it's in the US national anthem.
The attack at New Orleans was an attempt by the British to open up a second front in the war to divert American forces from the Canadian border, they got stomped by Based Andrew Jackson.
