No, you buy Mossman and be happy
>>33708766
Any 870 pre 2007 and you're good.
why does it have to be pre 2007? I think it will be difficult to get older models here in Germany..
What are the advantages over the 870?
>>33708826
Freedom Group take over means all companies within are now shit.
>>33708834
I assume you mean Mossberg. They have better extractors is the main thing, plus they don't suffer from rust problems, aluminum recievers better coatings.
Police trade in 870s are the way to go if you must have one.
No, get a mossburg.
Get a Maverick 88.
>>33709098
And save $100 just to end up having to blow it on not shit furniture? Pass.
>>33708766
mossberg and ati top folder. 870 is okay though, ignore the hate.
>>33709135
Could save $100 and spend it on drugs.
>>33708766
Get a mossberg 500 or a variant of it.
Mossberg, Ithaca, Benelli, anyone but Remington unless you're buying used.
Do not buy an express
>>33708766
I have an older 870 and I love it. Never had any experience with the Mossy 500, but I'm sure it would be great too.
just bought this baby, brand new out da box
but due to commie state I gotta wait to pick it up ~10 days.
LGS had both a Wingmaster 870 on the used rack and this one behind the counter, had the chance to hold and feel both, really liked the 590a1 even with the price difference (920 v 450) and my internal fudd was lovin the wood feel, but had to go with that rambo aesthetic on the 590a1. go feel em out and see which one you like better (easier on the eyes, the hands, the weight, etc) and i'll post about my 590a1 review in a couple weeks
No
Mossberg is far superior if only for safety and loading alone.
>>33708766
Old 870's are the best, skip the new production stuff
>>33710903
>not getting vintage wingmaster
ya done goofed
>>33710995
didnt look as sexy as your my friendo
just wait till i slap some wood on that baby woowee it's gonna be gud
Yes.
I have a few mossberg 500's and a few 870's, and the 870's get way more use. It's just a much more refined shotgun. Or at least fit and finish it better. (They are all old)
>>33708766
no. here's a 590 for $300
https://www.gunbuyer.com/catalog/product/view/id/104525/s/mossberg-590-tactical-pump-action-shotgun-12ga-3-chamber-18-5-barrel-7-1-50778/
cheaper and better in every way

>playing Barbies with your guns
Stock furniture is perfectly fine on a mav88, you mall ninja. Take the extra $100 and get a light or a shit ton of ammo.
browse some pawn shops for an older model
or just get a maverick 88 or a 500 variant
>>33708766
this OP... >>33708810
Get a pre 07 870 or a mossberg 500.
uh just buy a fucking 10 gauge
>>33710980
My dude, where did you get the folding stock?
Yes, although I would rather have a 590 in all weather.
for my first shotgun I got a Nova because it was lightweight and did not rattle as much as the mossbergs when I shook it around plus I thought it looked good.
aftermarket is for barbie dress up babies, all you need in a shotgun is barrel interchangeability, a longer tube and maybe little rail clamp thing for a flashlight.
>>33708826
Because they got bought out by (((Freedom Group))) who gutted their QC and now they commonly rust, shear extractors and have crooked fittings.
Get a Winchester or Mossberg.
>>33708834
They aren't rusting shitboxes full of toolmarks and sharp metal filings.
>>33709301
Ithaca and Benelli are great too.
>>33710903
Nice, the 590A1 is fantastic, dat bayonet lug mayne.
You can get wood furniture for it if you want too.
>>33708766
>2017
>using a shotgun
lol
>>33711266
It'll be like a 21st century trenchgun.
>>33711266
