Had one of those when I used to airsoft in college. I'm 6'2" and the belt still was around my ass. Things are way too damn long. You're better off with a chest rig of some type and a separate belt if you need one.

I've heard of plenty of people In Afghanistan and other middle East shitholes using condor, utg etc. and it generally holds up fine. For a civilian I see no need to spend more unless you're a gear queer fag.

I use a chicom rig personally because I only want to carry ammo and don't need anything else.

Here's a protip airsofters use their gear harder than 90 percent of the kids here who shoot at stationary steel. Condor shit is more than adequate for 90 percent of people.

Crossdraw vests are shit. Regardless of brand and material, they are shit. All your gear will hang awkwardly, the zipper will break, and they don't actually hold much.

Condor is also shit. Some things they make are alright, but their vests and plate carriers are terrible and uncomfortable.

If you want something somewhat affordable but not terrible, get a surplus russian rig like a SMERSH or a compact chest rig made by a decent company. Otherwise get a properly sized plate carrier from Crye, LBT or any other refutable manufacturer.

It's affordable and works. It's a throw-over-the-shoulder rig that holds a lot of ammo and is easy to adjust. Alice gear sucks, most US made chest rig or harness systems are expensive. For someone looking to spend a hundred bucks on a comfortable rig that holds 12 rifle magazines, you can't beat it. I'm not saying its better than a pc, but you can wear it over a pc and add considerable ammo storage. It's also super easy to just grab and go, my rifle rests on a fully loaded smersh that I can put on in a second.

Crossdraws are horrible in every concievable way, however.

I actually just ordered a .308 "v-ops" chest rig from BDS.

Kinda pricey starting at ~$110 but muh military contractor and all that shit. Lots of customization and reviews say they're good quality.

Downside is they're in Commiefornia.
