Well you gotta give someone a handout occasionally. Otherwise you would've just had an inflated Tu-2 and that would've looked weird. Gotta give the Soviets credit for being able to reverse engineer the B-29 in only a few years though, had to be a madhouse. Kinda sad that no one with an assload of money hasn't gotten a Tu-4 and B-29 together and actually done a side by side.
