So I just bought a marlin xt-22. What kind of scope should I get? Also post your 22s.
Norinco 22 mauser clone with scope
Irons are complete shit and bolt was crunchy when k got it first but after 100 rounds or so she's silky smooth fun and accurate

Neat.
I'm guessing I can't get these in US?
Have a cheap simmons on my Ruger 10/22. More than enough magnification, and no problems with it holding a zero so far.

What is that style or irons called?
Savage 62 with the old Bushnell scope off of my 336. The see through scope rings are great for using irons at close range. Whatever scope you get, I recommend these style of rings.

Blade rear sight, ramp front sight. I think I'll still zero the irons, but I'll probably get better results with an optic.
Got a bushnell trophy 3-9x40 through a friends discount, $45 shipped. Saw one on midway for $130. Even at that price I would recommend it as I was very very impressed with the glass. It's better than the strike eagle I just spent $200 on for my AR. I know those are two completely different things, but I'm just saying it was a pleasant surprise.
Here's my other .22
When I get around to getting another 22lr rifle that I can scope, I'm going to slap on a Leopold or someshit on it, just becuase everyone around me keeps shit talking 22 and say that you don't need good optics for a shit round.

*Leupold of course. Although realistically, I probably would put a nikon or vortex on my guns.
I actually used a cheapass barska scope before when I just got into guns, and that broke within just a months of normal use. I still have it in a box somewhere.
When I learned how to shoot irons properly, I realized I really didn't need a scope for very many things. Especially not on a .22.

Swarovski Z3. It's the best on the market.

OP here. I can shoot with irons just fine, but the ones on my marlin are crap.
