So I got my permit and my dad bought this for me for my birthday. Shot it a bunch and love carrying this little thing. Anything I should know as a first time carrier? I have shot guns my whole life and have already a collection long guns. Thanks in advanced
Shameless bump

Don't become a cocky lil faggot cause you carry.
>>33702583
Those things are hell to shoot. Too light, ergos are shit, slide doesn't lock back, etc.
Better than nothing though, enjoy.

That one, the LCP 2, does lock back on last round. They supposedly made it more comfortable by widening the grip a little, but I never shot the LCP to compare. Trigger is as good as any full size strikerfire which is why I got mine over the LCP. I will say that it is pretty painful to shoot. I don't like to shoot more than 10-20 rounds out of mine or I get disgruntled. It's the small size and the light weight that does it. It is the worst to shoot gun I own.

>Railgun with a railgun bitch onnit
Nice.
>>33704060
Ignore this slut. The LCP is an excellent carry gun, it'll serve you well.
>>33704102
I have the regular lcp and it's shit.
>hurts to shoot
>high tendency for a round to not chamber when you put a new mag in and rack the slide
>have to fix my grip on the gun every 2 shots (big hands)
>feels like it's going to fly out of my hands when shooting
>trigger sucks (lcp custom and ii fixed it)
why 380?

I'm eyeing a Sig p938. anyone have experience with it?
I have those same rounds for my Walther PPK

I understand. I'm extremely humbled with the responsibility of having a firearm in my pocket. Though, I can't deny that it's really cool to carry.
>>33704060
You should really try the lcp 2, it's very a shootable for a handgun that size. Much better than the sw bodyguard and p3at

>carrying small guns
>>33706861
Not OP, but pocket pistols are fun.
>>33705503
Yea I have shot a regular LCP and I agree with all of that but the part where you say it feels like it will fly out of your hand. Personally I can hold it semi comfortably but cant hit fucking anything because of its stupid ass trigger. The thing jams 60% of the time too. Luckily its not my gun.

So is Alien Gear
>>33706861
This.

Carrying a weapon isn't something you do for entertainment purposes. Of course you're most likely immature as fuck so it doesn't bother you. That gun is a talisman at best and a liability at worst.

Kill your self

What do you carry?
>>33707291
full sized guns, clearly
>>33705587
They're literally one of the only 5 rounds worth carrying in .380 ACP
>Don't touch it in public
>Get a better trigger for your LCP (kits are cheap)
>Don't fucking touch it and no you aren't printing
>Get the $40 kit to add an extra two rounds of .380 to your LAP
>Train often
>DON'T FUCKING TOUCH IT AND STOP WORRYING
After a year, you won't think about it much. Welcome to the club.
>>33707740
>to your LCP
Come on autocorrect. You know to NOT FUCKING TOUCH IT EITHER.
Also, don't let people shit on your LCP. Sure, it's been updated. But if you can get gud with it, you're a pretty damn good shot.
Write your dad a card or give him a hug too. I wish I had a dad like that.

What kind of autist is constantly feeling the urge to touch their gun? Sure you might think you print a little for the first two days but I never felt the draw to just fiddlefuck it all the time
>>33702583
Your father bought you a .380? Kek. He thinks/already knows you're a fag.
>>33707767
You tell me, snowflake. I teach CC classes and love watching newbies "brushing" up against their guns.
Many will tell you that this is a common problem.
>>33707780
OP here, stealing your gif

Thanks for the advice. It's definitely a new feeling to have it with me all the time. The only time I fuck with it is when I'm at home practicing my draw with snapcaps. Does anyone have any pictorials on stances with pistols. I could just google, but I'm at work and will be checking later when I get home.

I have an LCP gen 1 I've learned to shoot extremely well for what it is. It's definitely not a gun I'd recommend to new shooters or women desu
>>33708147
Lots of variables there friendo. There are range stances and then there are self defense cover/concealment positions. In most self defense shootings you will have to draw and fire extremely fast. Draw and fire and then worry about your stance for follow up shots if needed.
