A forward assist isn't a safety feature anon... its literally the opposite by forcing the bolt into battery despite there being an instruction.

A more apt comparison would be "i never use the engine emergency shutdown override, but im retarded and want the ability to fuck myself anyway"

10 round .50 Beowulf mags, my man. They're legally 10 round mags, but hold about 30 of .223.

Alternatively, stock up on hex mags. The risers come out and you can replace the spring to make it 30 rounds. Not that I would ever condone such an action...
