I finally broke down and bought one of those stack on 22 gun cabinets because they were one sale recently. Plan on bolting to floor and wall studs inside my closet.

I use Sturdysafe. Industrial as fuck but not cheap/poorfag looking and it took 3 guys to move it at ~700lbs. It's a tiny 8 gun model that will hold probably 10-12 on the factory rack, more with rods.

I keep my revolver and my rifle under my bed in a pelican case. I lock it to the bedframe if I'm gone for a while. I live in a condo near San Francisco.

Not that guy, but I have a cheap one, and it's nice to have a specific place to store your guns so they aren't laying around of in a closet or something. It's like having a large toolchest for your tools, where they're out of your way, they're all easily locatable, and it helps to prevent accidental damage.

Poorfag so I just keep my two guns in cases I got for free in my closet. They're buried under some stuff and not very many people know I own guns. I also live in a quiet part of town, my neighbors are all graduate students, and I live in a state where there's a very serious risk of being shot during any break in, even to an apartment in a college town.
When I can afford it I'm renting a small house and buying a safe, plus more guns.

I'm looking for a long gun cabinet at the moment. I'm looking to store at least 4 long arms hopefully 6 one being a 91/30 mosin. This will be laying horizontally under a bed for now. Anyone have any preferences? I'm looking at just cheapo bullshit ones for now, just wanted to know if anyone had one that they felt was stellar for the price

I have a safe but i just ordered some slatwall. Im going to display maybe 10 nicer rifles in my reloading room and then just sit in there and mentally jerkoff

I have a Liberty safe that they claim will hold 24 long guns and I have about 16 in there and it's packed tight! Good safe for the money though, paid 6 hundo out the door. A good value right in between the Stack On file cabnit and the 2 grand 90 minute fire tested safes.

Yup, I got a 10 gauge 52 CU ft firesafe. Weighs 1100lbs empty and is bolted to the concrete underneath. I keep a fireproof document safe inside it for passports and insurance policies. The primary job of my safe is to reduce fire damage and keep kids out. I know a determined thief can thrash 10 gauge steel quickly.

I live in a quiet little suburb and have less than 10 long guns and less than 10 pistols. The $3k for the safe + install has the unexpected bonus of: wife complains less when I bring a new gun home.

Because of california i HAVE to have a gun and ammo in separate safes at all times in my home, i hate it here but whatever. I have a ruger GP100 in my wall safe next to my bed, and my safe carries everything else, AND i have a small safe under my bed with my .357 ammo and another next to my gun safe.
