someone post the literal fucking pirate cannon
Isis drone strikes
>>33695920
At least we got something out of the manufacturing methods of the delivery system. The derails involving the source of the ammunition were absolutely cancerous though, no doubt about that.
>>33696371
Holy fuck, this must impact so much the morale, how they are supposed to fight these sick fucks

>muh /pol/ boogyman
Fuck off newfag
>>33695891
Hmm, that device looks kosher to me.
I can tell that the kike Soros personally supplied these noob tubes.
I think the best bet to counter this would be with gas and ovens. We already have the gas, we just need to fond a supplier for the ovens.
Any volunteers?

I lost it when I saw these things up close.
>>33695027
That's not actually improvised at all, I think. Looks like a factory-standard SA-3 trailer-based quad-rail launcher.
>>33697377
Video footage of the launchers in use seemed to show PGV rockets.

>how they are supposed to fight these sick fucks
They're sick because they're using $200 of off-the-shelf kit to disable a $6mil main battle tank?
I mean, there's plenty of things about IS that are worth condemning but you can't really expect them to line up infantry in front of tanks and politely die because that's how law-abiding enemies do it, do you?
>>33698608
>Iraqi army , all of this is US surplus
I think they're actually leased from the US. The USA is probably actually making money out of them being killed by IS.
Which figures, USA profits from most wars where it goes to lend a hand. The allies only finished paying them off for WWII a few years ago.

>>33699693
>Looks like a factory-standard SA-3 trailer-based quad-rail launcher.
Given that there's no such thing, yes it is improvised, not to mention it's being used surface to surface.
>>33699693
Launched against ground targets.
I think it counts.

>No aerial support to spot approaching VBIED.
Can't say I feel sorry for them if they don't keep a sharp eye open for suspicious movements.
>>33706179
You can clearly see them trying to stop it.
Do you have any fucking idea how busy any aircraft over Mosul is? Trying to deal with a hundred firefights at once with people being blown apart faster than you can swivel the sensor ball around?
>>33706189
Why don't they just get a drone themselves and hover it over their vehicles to cover the immediate area? You can even recharge the extra batteries for the drone from the cars' running engines. Hell, a pseudo-static guard drone could even be cable-powered if it just always hovers in a max 30° angle over the vehicle.
>>33706210
They do, there are tactical UAV's all over the fucking place
Guess what, they're not omniscient and information isn't communicated at lightspeed
>>33706210
That's a very interesting idea. Tanks already have 360 degree vision at all times but obviously if there's a wall in the way it doesn't mean shit.
Giving a quadrocopter enough cameras to see 360 degrees around and hovering a hunder feet or so above a tank is an idea somebody should pitch to whoever is in charge of that kind of shit. Only trouble I can think of would be going under bridges or especially forested areas if it's on a charging "leash" constantly.
>>33706234
It's an idea that already exists, tethered UAV's
It's useless on the battlefield because of obstacles and the fact that it'd be astonishingly vulnerable to gunfire.
This is a relatively open street in Mosul
>>33694999
so this is the new brick plating technology
