No, because the west is afraid to fight wars anymore. We have lost every war since "rules of engagement" and "collateral damage" became a concern in our Low-T culture. The only winnable war is total war. Either go to war with the intention of finishing it, or don't stick your toe in the water to begin with.

And i'm sure new incarnations of this conflict will come forward if the present one does enter hiatus.

Religion is holding humanity back.
A belief system doesn't need to be hostile, but the fact that they always cause conflict doesn't bode well for them.

Everyone just needs to chill and realize it doesn't matter, trying to deny each other freedom won't benefit either of us.
