So /k/ I'm doing a research paper on the state of the mexican firearms industry from their revolution to today and kinda hit a snag for the revolution and WWII. I was wondering if you had any articles or texts you could recommend to help me.
It was mostly non existent. They bought Arisakas and Mausers. Spain didn't leave them much when they pulled out.
You could possibly look into smaller companies like Trejo and see how they started

I might, or just talk to Gun Jesus and see what he says.

this
they had some notable designers but no base to make much of their own.

Wasn't that little 25 acp full auto pistol from Mexico?
>>33686479
Yeah. That was the trejo.

These rifles weren't even made in Mexico. SIG made them all.
Not much. Productos Mendoza made a BAR like 30-06 toploading LMG around the WW2 era.
Now they only make tube fed .22s and small SMGs.

Sig had to build them since Mexico didn't have the machinery for the more complex parts, but its an all Mexican design.

no shit they weren't made in mexico did you read the post at all dipshit?
>>33686446
Did they buy much from the Japanese?
I found this picture of what looks like a Type 92.

Where did it go wrong after the Mondragon?
Shit was ahead of its time
I bet the PRI did this

Sure it's not just a generic Hotchkiss?
>>33687693
Probably is, I'm not very bright.

Guy on the right looks like Jimmy Pop from The Bloodhound Gang

They bought some Type 38s (Mexican Model 1913s), but a lot were never sent over because of the Mexican revolution going on.
That's a French Hotchkiss MG.

Why so booty blasted? Its not much of a stretch to think a Mexican designed rifle would of been made in Mexico even if just a prototype
