New ones are like $650 but at the same time apparently they are somewhat uncommon and usually go for around $800 new. I think this one (VG-EXC) condition with its 5 mags and box is a very good deal. Lowest ones I saw were used newer versions of the gun for $50 more than its MSRP!

You get what you pay for. If it were me I would get the upgraded trigger if its really bothering you. Tangfolios are fine guns, but they are not as well made and tend to have less refining than their Czech counter parts.

I have seen a witness elite in person and wasn't really that impressed honestly. I found it more difficult to rack than a normal CZ and it seemed a little blocky

I like the feel of the P-09 however the trigger is rather long. The travel is kinda a turnoff for me cause its quite far and the pull is mushy. OP here btw.

I really want a p07. Ever since I got my 82 I've just kind of fallen in love with the grip and the looks of them, plus they're one of the only quality DA/SA makers out there, especially for carry. The problem is finding them. I'm in fudd central and good luck finding anything that isn't Glock, s&w, or Colt.

I need to just start calling every gun store within an hour's drive and see what they tell me. Maybe I'll get lucky.

So I had a trigger return spring breakage on my 75, as I hear are common on cz's. I got a Cajun gun works return spring, and installed it. However I've read on some forums that even the cgw's one broke on a bunch of people.
So when browsing cz custom, I saw they have their own trigger return spring, which is heat treated. They say they've shot it over 20k rounds without a problem.
Does anyone here have experience with them?

Shit, I really, really wanted to get it but I could barely get a good consistent pull on the trigger. I know you can reduce the frame a little but I doubt I would be able to ever make it to the size of saw a CZ 75b which hits my hand just fine.

Anybody have any experience with CZCustom threaded barrels? My brother got me one for my birthday, but it seems like it requires some fitting. We talked to a CZ sponsored shooter he's done a few matches with and he said they should drop in. Gun is a P-09

P07s are really nice, just wish they fit my hands a little better. Backstrap is a little thin for me. Trigger can be made pretty damn nice too

it's my favorite rifle by far, and I'm a collector of boltguns. it absolutely points, it's just super easy for me to hit with, and the weight makes it real pleasant to handle.

my only complaint is the shitty magazine. the baseplate slides forward under recoil if it isn't perfectly seated all the way, and to top it off it's a fucking $40 magazine. I still only have one because I can't bring myself to spend $120 on four shitty 5-round mags. eventually I'm going to have to.

Same, the P-09 is my main bedside gun. I usually leave this one at home rather than CC it because my wife prefers it over everything else. It's heavy enough to take up pretty much all the felt recoil but not too heavy for her to use comfortably.

It's a pretty good compromise I think. I want to get her a P-07 so I can have this back and stop CCing my 92A1.
