Hey /k/, /o/ here. I recently inherited a 75 F100. Being a single cab with no storage options aside from the glove box I'd like to ad something "fitting" to haul the usual truck stuff like tape, tools and the like.
Sure I could drive to home Depot and buy a tool bag. But actually I'm looking for something cooler. So are there any military bags out there that could fill that role? Just needs some space and a handle. No need for slings etc

Are you looking for a surplus duffel bag, or what?

Please don't keep the toolbag with anything of value in your (beautiful) truck unattended for extended periods of time. Crackheads love stealing tools to pawn.
Buddy of mine had thousands of dollars of tools stolen from his workvan (locked, and the rear doors padlocked).

Yeah, basically something like pic related - only surplus if that's possible.

I wanted to put it under the bench seat where no one can see it from outside. I also don't live in a city or even an area with junkies

Mortar fuse case
Google 'M1945 cargo pack'
Cheap, rugged, surplus, big enough for tools and if you wanted, you could also get the M1945 combat pack and put both together as a load bearing unit

Although I don't like the patches shown here, such a duffle bag seems like a nice way to show off all those patches one usually keeps somewhere in a drawer... thanks for inspo
