Do you have any? Something that is minor yet still annoys the hell out of you?
I find it really irritating to look at a handgun with a mounted light that extends way past the muzzle.
why
>>33672340
Me too. It's ugly but it doesn't bother me that much
y
Basically the same thing with shotgun magazine tubes
>>33672340
On the same note shotgun mag tubes going past the barrel. It's just aesthetic, but no sir, I don't like it.
>>33672395
This is way worse cause the finish on the magazine tube eventually starts to wear
>>33672340
Hammers on pistols that don't sit straight.
Plastic frames bending/warping.
Inconsistent ejection patterns.
Anything rattley that shouldn't be and vice versa.
Pins that fall out.
Wobbles that shouldn't exist. The usual shit.
>>33672414
I get that it is a non-issue, but Glock pignose is really aggravating aesthetically
The gun community's obsessive interest in soulless striker fired pistols with ever lighter triggers
Budget ARs always need retardo shiny barrels
What's the point of these things? Do straight foregrips on non-NFA guns violate some retarded NFA clause?
>>33672551
its comfy
>>33672581
Doesn't look too comfy to me but I'm a Califag who's never touched a 'Salt weapon.
Are straight foregrips illegal according to the NFA though?
>>33672594
>Are straight foregrips illegal according to the NFA though?
no. They were in the awb
>>33672594
straight forgrips are illegal on pistols since it turns them into AOWs
afg can go on pistols if you want though its a bit dumb most afgs are on rifles cause its comfy
>>33672551
the palm-up grip generally results in better accuracy than a vertical grip
I don't mind wml protrusion. Used to bother me a bit, and flush looks a lot better, but having a standoff that allows contact shots is kinda nice. Couple of LEOs have both lived and died due to such things.
Plus more extension beyond the muzzle is a little better for the light itself
>>33672719
It doesn't bother me when it's a little bit, but it annoys me visually when the light protrude by like 2 inches or more.
There is just something very satisfying about a pistol and light the line up perfectly
>>33672719
I agree with this guy
Just to add - a glock 34/35 with an x300 is incredibly aesthetic. Then again I'm a sucker for exposed barrels
>>33672743
1911s too
>>33672551
You can't put a vertical grip on a pistol without a cuck stamp
>>33672510
Better then a government profile barrel at least on the MP-15
>>33672340
A2 front sights on factory ARs
Lack of chrome lining or melonite in most commercial firearm barrels and shitty matte bluing instead of melonite.
I've seen way more damage caused by the elements and/or neglect than actual use.
Browning B25's with the attached forend, where the sliding of the non-removable forend to break down the shotgun ends with the barrel bluing being marked/worn.
WTF John Moses, relieve that fucker. It's hand-built in Herstal
>>33672478
sauce?
>>33672406
Oh no the finish on my piece of pipe is wearing off...
>>33672340
I got told by my uncle who was in my country's equivalent of SWAT that they preferred lights that protruded because they acted as a rudimentary stand off device.
I don't doubt that they probably did it for that reason but I doubt that it'd work as well as something intended for the purpose.
I hate non-flattop uppers on ARs. It's only acceptable if the rifle is specifically emulating a retro look.
loop hammers. ffs, get a god damn spur.
>9meeeilll
Mill isn't a fucKing thing god Damnet
>tfw I broke up with my girlfriend because shed only ever say mmmeeiill
That and she was crazy. But I wanna look like a tough guy so let's leave that part out
>>33672478
>>33672340
lmao
>>33672478
This.
After lurking /k/ for a while, it becomes really clear that no gun can be considered accurate unless you completely replace the trigger with some aftermarket boutique part set that completely eliminates all effort into training your hand muscled and getting a good grip that allows a clean trigger pull.
As of 100,000's of cops, soldiers, and citizens haven't been fighting off the forces of evil with completely stock guns for over a century.
>>33672772
>>You can't put a vertical grip on a pistol without a cuck stamp
as long as OAL is over 26" you can, as it's no longer concealable.
When people say their scope is 3 by 9 by 40 or 3x9x40.
It's 3-9x40. 3 to 9 by 40. There's one "by" you fucking morons.
>>33672464
Two minutes with a heat gun fixes it
>>33675270
Unless you actively conceal it, in which it becomes an AOW.
But then not actually because of US v. Davis
>>33675089
>It's only acceptable if the shooter has a proper cheek weld and height over bore
>>33675157
He has a point. They're a staple and they're proven just like ARs, but it's made a stagnant marketplace. I like them but it's stalling innovation in favor of income(which is necessary of course)
>>33675254
This, so much.
"X trigger is garbage because I heard it has these characteristics that i don't understand what they even mean"
I have yet to find a properly functioning trigger that made it impossible for me to figure it out over the weekend. I may not have liked them, but honestly half the shit you read online or see in reviews seems to be exaggerated because all the new shit is so close that they have to make it seem different in some way.
And by properly functioning, I refuse to believe that any trigger that isn't broken could possibly feel like the one on the FMK intentionally
>>33675472
Concealment is like AP with the ATF. Doesn't matter if it's capable, just how it's put together
>>33675444
Trip to range fixes it back
>>33675875
Nope
>>33672757
>>33675322
This so much. Fudds especially.
>>33672478
>soulless
Everything is soulless.

>US vs Davis
how does a 4th amendment due process case about electronic tracking apply to the NFA and concealed carry laws?
>>33676088
Except humans and USPs
When handguards don't cover enough of the barrel.
