So I'm watching the North Korean live stream with other /pol/ocks waiting for the end of times and these appear on screen. Some though it was a modified Bizon but it has the body of an AK. I believe it to be an Ak47 moddified to work with a magazine similar to the bizon. What's /k/'s take on it? Really curious if it could work.

>Really curious if it could work.
poorly most likely, helicals arent exactly renowned for reliability
How do they even grip that and aim it?
>>33671565
dead men marching
In reality they are almost certainly 5-10 round magazines inside a faux shell.
Best way to make the peasants stay in line is for them to think you have overwhelmingly overwhelming firepower.
>>33671565
sunglasses and "NODs" at the same damn time. What're these silly fucks up too?
Those flaks look silly as fuck too
Are those overfolding trunnions a nork thing, or just something I haven't seen before?
>>33671565
Left front, guy's got a 45° gas port while everyone else has the standard 74 gas port.
>>33671565
>>33671565
I would say potato launchers but I know they would be beheaded for wasting food like that.
>>33671701
The top-folding stock is something unique to North Korea and it's obvious something designed to work around the helical magazine. My real interest is the magazine itself, they've shown up once in a while in pictures of North Korean guards and especially around the regime leadership and high ranking officials. I have to wonder if they are dummy magazines, real but only borderline functional, or prehaps they are actually functional magazines but no one else actively fielded the idea due to how awkward and unwieldy it made the rifle. The rifle doesn't need to be real accurate or handy if it's only field use is blasting uppity peasants and marching down streets.
There is no way those are functional mags. If they were filled, they would have to attach at two points to prevent destroying the receiver from the leverage.
We all know the rumors that they don't have enough ammo to issue it to every soldier, I suspect these helical mags are a way of compensating, signalling to the public that they are swimming in ammo.
>>33672083
They look attached to the barrel
>>33672083
I would believe that
>>33671776
Kekalicious
>>33672083
looks like they're attaching to the bayonet lug at the front
so let me get this straight, the north korean military strategy is to train their soldiers in CHA and bluff everything instead of actually fighting and its been working for years?
>>33672623
everyone just has too much wis and int to want to attack NK
>>33671776
Clearly a t-shirt canon attachment. Nothing makes peasants happy like a free shirt with Dear Leader's picture on it.
>>33672623
>>33672669
this
>>33672623
Keks.
But bree much what the last anon said. For all our STR, we also have too much WIS to actually decide attacking North Korea would be anything but a good idea.
>>33672615
what kind of pistols?
The guy in the front looks strangely out of focus. Did they shoop him in the photo?
>>33673229
Where are the pistols? I don't see any
Fuck your coverage OP, you nearly made me miss this pic which is more interesting. Right there is an integrated Nork multi-shot grenade launcher rifle combo with high-angle optic of some kind. Only Worst Korea and PRC have something similar.
>>33673387
Chest holsters, wooden grips
>>33674565
I'd be impressed if those optics did absolutely anything
>>33674579
Most likely CZ-75 clones made in Best Korea.
>>33674565
I wonder what the punishment is for dropping one of those rifles...
>>33674565
nice shoop.
>>33677423
It's not.
>>33672623
It's a show to put on for the subjects to keep them in line. NK stays in place because China and South Korea doesn't want to have their economies collapse having to feed millions of refugees.
>>33671565
They're just Nork AK74 overfolders with helical mags. If they were loaded or functional they'd be really fucking front heavy.
TL;DR Norks are fucking retarded and the only reason why we'd be interested in milsurp nork parts kits would be for the cool factor and the eccentric shit you see in Norkland.
>>33672083
>We all know the rumors that they don't have enough ammo to issue it to every soldier, I suspect these helical mags are a way of compensating, signalling to the public that they are swimming in ammo.
These guys are Kim's bodyguards. They'd have all the ammo they could want.
The other units, who knows but these are responsible for making sure the other units can't stage a coup. Hence why they have Chinese imported NVGs and some sort of locally made kevlar (it's not that hard to make) and whatever else they want.
rpg, canister type.
can pierce bullet glass and low quality arm.
or are you talking about the nvg's?
>>33673229
Nork build cz75 clones
>>33673380
Depth of field
It's a lens thing
Does anybody here have the US vs Russian aircraft K:D ratio meme???
>>33672083
Peasants are no more likely than liberals to be able to tell a high-capacity magazine from a standard one at a glance.
HELICAL MAGS YOU FUCKING NEWFAGS
THEY'RE HELICAL 5.45 MAGS
or at least they're supposed to be. In reality it's probably just a painted piece of wood.
But unless the happening happens, we'll never know for sure if North Korean 5.45 helical mags are real or not.
>>33671565
How many of their units even have NVGs??
>>33681679
basically all of it benefits the west so much because of Israel and the gulf war.
>>33673229
Some CZ clone like pic related. Looks like they have 18 round magazines like the ones used in the CZ-75 SP-01 series. The grips look like target grips of some sort. Seems like a pretty Gucci handgun, I bet only their best get to use them.
>>33681792
Thank you anon.
>>33681792
>F16 and F15
Why do american planes look so sexy? So slick and arousing.
>>33681989
That's just what peak performance looks like.
