Orangecat's shit with making new thread, lucky I got back just in time.

Back! Was out of home almost all day yesterday, I had to go cause dad forget his wallet. i then decided to visit other town which's other way from home and hang out with uni friend which's other side from house I didnt get back home until like 11 so tired but have enough energy to either watch a movie or shitpost on here.

Decided to watch a movie before plopping on bed to sleep.

today I looked for my acog i my sis and dad/s room.

I FUCKING FOUND IT, it was in box along with ancient PS2 under a box full of various electronic cables in sis's room. What a bunch of junks that should be thrown away. The acog is older 3x model with stupid triangle reticle.

After finding it and seeing it I remember it now, I remember being disdained with it cause it had wrong reticle and is painted all over. I spent maybe hour or hours(no idea lose track of time) today carefully stripping the paint with paint stripper so good it probably gave me cancer. I got most of paint off but there's still some left. It had like 4 colors being tan, brown, light green and dark green. Guy that had it probably used different brands of paint some paint stuck good and some came off like nothing. Fiber optic rod was partially covered with paint too. I did some yard work today tooso i'm betty tired.

It's unacceptable and i'm definitely going to sell it.

Hopefully I will shoot with it tomorrow and zero it. I will give it a genuine try, as in a try to like it. But I dont think I can bear the reticle. She's mounted on carry handle with thumbscrew, look aesthetic like fuck!

just no, next aimpoint I would buy would be definitely be H1/T1 regardless of condition as long glass arent scratched. I'm not fan of aesthetic of T2/h2 and bigger and longer profile plus higher cost for negligible gain to my need.

I'm more than satisfied with T1/H1 and PA MDAS satisfy me with only small bugging in back of my head about it's ruggedness. My old pre advanced discontinued PA micro is still rocking after years it's probably 3-4 years old by now.

SFP, your reticle stays the same size throughout the magnification, so the target gets bigger, reticle and marks stay the same, so you can only use ranging on whatever is deemed to be ranging mag. usually max power

FFP, your reticle zooms with your target, so at 4x, you're going to have a much thinner reticle than at 16x, but your ranging will translate throughout your magnification ranges.

In FFP the reticle increases in size as you increase in magnification and the holdovers are all the same no matter the magnification.

Both work fine and would serve you well in a low magnification AR scope assuming a 50/200 yard zero.

Nobody is using a 1-6x and shooting it like a precision gun. Fuck Leupold doesn't even make a 1-6x with a Horus reticle (OP was asking for a 1-6x) . The whole point of a low variable power optic is being able to get accurate fire on a man sized target quickly, not print groups, so stop comparing Apples to oranges. If you want "tighter groups" get a 4-16 or 2-10x for your AR.
