You're not the only one who was screwed from that, For me it was a wasr with 3 mags, and 100 rounds of ammo for $825 private sale during the scare. The thing functions superb for a wasr, so I've come to grips with being so foolish. But with the market now, there's better options at the same price point for both of us had patience been a thing. If someone told me that in just 4 years time the market would get back to a low norm, I'd have held out. But that's in the past. Shit happens, gotta deal with poor choices when they come.

Built my first AR on an ATI Omni-Hybrid without realizing it was polymer, when I should've spent another $30 on a two-dicks-kissing Spikes lower.

Good news, I've put probably about 300-400 rounds through it since February, with no issues.

I payed way too much for my m39. Its in great shape and one of my favorite rifles but it was like a week before classic got all theirs in.

I used canola oil in my guns after hearing about the fireclean meme.

During a range trip with my best friend of nearly 20 years, I fired a 9mm cartridge and the brass case landed perfectly landed on my shoulder. While trying to remain perfectly still, I pivoted my upper body to face my friend and show him the casing. I turned towards him with my 9mm m&p facing directly towards his chest, my finger wasn't on the trigger, but I can't help but think that a slight accident was all stood between him and death.

I had a ND with a Beretta 92A1 in my buddy's house.

Only real regret I have is buying a PSA AK V2.
Not a bad gun by any measure, but it's just not worth the price when you can now buy an Arsenal for under 900$ or a Vepr FM for 1000$.
Not sure if I want to get rid of it and accept the loss or hold onto it because it works fine. The plastic furniture it came with is some of the worst I've ever seen, so I'd need to replace it if I really wanted to get a lot of use out of it.

I bought a k91 for $320 a couple years ago and sold it last year for $200 just so I could make rent that month.

It was a 1942 model with a walnut stock, troop tag and as close to perfect rifling as you can get. The bluing was fairly worn, but it was still in great condition.

The part about this that really hurts is that I was able to get in contact with the son of the guy who was listed on the troop tag. We talked for a bit and I asked him why Pam was carved into the side of the stock. Apparently that was his mother's name, and his father decided to carve it into the stock for shits and giggles and to remind himself of who he would be fighting for if the Germans or Italians ever invaded Switzerland. After talking for an hour and a half he ended the call by thanking me and saying he was happy that his dad's rifle had gone to someone who would really appreciate it.

I live in MA and am currently no guns. Applying for LTC when I get an affidavit from my psychiatrist because I was willingly hospitolized at 14 for OCD, but they count shit you did as a minor on the application.

I've owned a Parker Enforcer crossbow as a means to get some form of enjoyment the past 5 years, but since you need a specific stance when aiming or the bolt goes different places each time, after my first scope broke from me just firing and cocking the bow I could never ever sight it in and it gave me a huge irrational hatred for scopes in general.

Took it to range, it fired two or three shot BURST on first trigger pull, then jammed.

I have both an AFG and a VFG on one of my ARs.
I know it's probably gay, but i like it. The VFG provides stability and grip for close quarters (home defense etc feels much more suitable), while the AFG feels much better for longer ranges and over-hand type gripping downrange further (innawoods, 70+ yds etc).

The rifle isn't even loaded up with tons of mall ninja optics, lasers, even and scope. Just the grips and some added rails to fit them to.

I brought a maverick 88 for $225 with hogue pistol grip at a gun show.

I had to draw my ccw once and the slide got fucked up on me, causing a failure to fire (ended up wrestling around with the guy, will tell the story if anyone is interested). The click from the FTF scared him off, but now I exclusively carry revolvers. It makes me feel like a fudd and is kind of ridiculous I know, but im just way more comfortable with a revolver now. I am trying to carry autos again, but will probably always have a .38 as a back up

I got a brand new Pellet gun yesterday because I can't use my Mosin to remove raccoons because where I live. I spent the second half of yesterday and 4 hours today trying to zero the scope. about 3 and a half hours into trying to zero it today I was about to give up and it dawned on me the nobs I was using to try and adjust the crosshair were just covers and I had to use a coin to adjust the corsshair.
