It's good when you watch it without thinking who the director and viewer are supposed to see as "in the right"
That's how I watch movies anyway, though, so I loved it.

That woman is the most woman woman I've ever seen in an action movie. I'm glad she got rekt so hard.

The Raid was pretty good. I was surprised to see the large variety of guns, especially the KAC PDW. I assume they were all airsoft, but still.
The Raid 2 was even better, but I wish it had more gunplay.

When writing the sequel they decided to get rid of Emily Blunts character that they were going to include and just focus on Del Toro, Brolin and Donovans characters. She sucked, I get why they had to make her that way but goddam she got annoying.

I think that the Black Sails tv miniseries is very well done on historical accuracy of the age of pirates. I would reccomend for the crime list
Outrage Aka Autoreiji (2010)
directed and starred by the great Takeshi Kitano. It's sort of a revenge story, with great action and acting, but moreso than that it delivers a very simple message (violence generates more violence) in a very deep and touching way, for me at least.

She was an example of the cop that wants to be the warrior, and when she finally gets the chance and realizes that its way dirtier and requires more commitment, training, and moral flexibility than she will ever be able to find within herself, she tries to play the saint, threatening to expose everything. I suspect that most SWAT types, local, state, and federal would demonstrate the same level of bitchiness and cowardice if attached to a joint CIA SAD/SOG, SOCOM unit. They seem to like driving around in their MRAPS and trying to look like badass "operators" when they show up to take down the asshole that barricades himself in a house, Id love to see how these clowns would conduct themselves on a mission where some of them might actually die.

You know, instead of searching in the wiki, whenever I face a movie that I never heard before, I go to IMDB to read the user's critics

>There are a lot of bizarre chains of circumstance which set up the plot of this. People just happen to have talents and interests which assist the plot, others have very improbable reasons for being where they are, and so on.
>But if you can forget about the artificially convenient, this is a pretty good tale, pretty well told. A medical corps unit, and some of its patients, who start out as captives, end up, under the leadership of Richard Burton, being a commando team who play a vital part in the assault on Tobruk. Oh, and there's a girl in there somewhere.
>There are plenty of tense moments, adventures, incidents, and so on. People get shot, things get blown up, the Germans are uniformly stupid except for Rommel, the military genius.
>It's got all the ingredients (even if it did borrow some of the more spectacular explosions and so on from another movie), and the actors are as convincing as they can be given their improbable backgrounds. A perfectly enjoyable, inconsequential, undemanding movie which makes two hours or so pass pleasantly enough.

Unlike "Braveheart", a film about a man who didn't do most of the stuff claimed (the man who actually did the military victories was Andrew De Moray), which has tartan kilt-wearing (ie, 18th century fashion) scots wearing blue woad (ie, 4th century pictish, not scots), fighting at the "Battle of Stirling Bridge", which does not contain a bridge, yet alone Stirling, where Wallace waves a sword of a style made 300 years after his death, in a story about events that barely even happened in the most tenuous way to reality, including a romance about Wallace meeting a french princess who was 4 years old at the time of his death, and lived in an entirely different nation?
