Thread for talking about nuggets and their accessories. You may only post ITT if you own a nugget.
Does anyone here own a nugget with this barrel mark? If so, are you looking to sell?
>>33643690
Just got one of my own, Finn VKT 91/30 receiver with literally everything mismatching Izhevsk from the bolt to the barrel bands. Previous owner fucked up front sight post, which i'm replacing, and refinished the stock with the locking lugs in, which are caked.
Shoots nice tho
I wonder if I'll be able to get a good enough price for my Tula 91/30 to get a Finnish M39
>>33643690
Bad pic, but here's my 91/59, fav mosin.
>>33643943
Probably not. Unless it's a 41 Tula. Those are rare.
I think I got a nugget in here somewhere
>>33643771
Too bad about the bubba work, looks like it would otherwise be a good gun. Hope you didn't pay too much for it.
>>33644002
What stock ammo pouch is that anon?

There you are friendo. I got their chest rig for a future mag gun, and boy is it sweet. get the H-strap version if you look at it at all
The oldest Mosin I have. 1895. Havent looked up the manufacturer or anything
>>33644085
Heres another pic.
>>33643690
I ruined the finish on the 91/30 by forcing the barrel bands on upside down.
>tfw the finish was nice before
>>33644040
Oh my fuck thank you for asking that question; I had the pouch on wrong. Here's what it looks like now.
>>33643943
Keep both.
>>33644017
Luckily, it only cost me about 180 dingos, cause the guy said he was "liquidating" his collection for cash. Put another 20-50 and it'll be a bit, but not bad
>>33644056
>>33644129
Thank comrade! I will be picking one of these up.
My McNugget

>rotate picture still post wrong orientation
incredible
so a buddy is selling an american westinghouse mosin
what's the value on these american made nuggets? I think he was selling it for 400 or 500 dollars i cant remember exactly.
>>33644915
>>33644951
If it's American, it ain't a Mosin.
150 bucks or die
>>33644951
I paid 350 for my Remington contract Mosin.
>>33643690
Where does one get a nugget for relative cheap in NY? I'm talking about $200-350.
Got an m39 in this one...
>>33645090
Lol also those are socks tied together as dog toys... Not a turd.
>>33644085
>>33644103
That's a nice Tula my dude.
The first straight line of wording Says Tulski so that's where this bad boy is from.
>>33645106
Thank you kindly
>>33644915
Shoot the calculus book.
Two of my three Nuggets.
>>33643771
I wouldn't worry about the stock anyway; it's a post-war Soviet stock so it was already a bubba replacement before it was refinished.
>>33644164
That's a nice-looking Type-53.
>>33644951
>what's the value on these american made nuggets?
If it's a Finnish-used Westinghouse-contract M91, then $350-450. If it's a "Balkan" Westinghouse M91 then $300-400. If it shows no signs of anyone other than Russia's use, then $600+. If it's a US-surcharged Westinghouse then probably $1K+.
Do hand nuggets count?
>>33648838
Can't hurt.

Like pottery.
>>33649046
He looks so disappointed
>>33648855
I make good money and own a nugget. Because nuggets are awesome.
>>33649230
I'd be disappointed too if I had to drink Bud Light.
>>33648855
Do I have to post the $2650 Mosin again?
>>33652634
Or the $9K Pedersen Mosin.
>>33654056
I've never seen that one.

$8050, sorry.
Anyone have fitting issues with their bayonet? If so how did you get it to fit?
>>33654332
I did because mine didn't come with the matching bayonet (thanks Cabelas), so I got one that didn't fit too well. I just sanded the piss out of it and it fits good enough.
>>33654332
When I still had a bayonet (gave them away long ago) I buffed and polished the inside of it to make it smoother. At most I took off .001 from the surface but it helped a lot. Was still tight but I could remove it by hand.
>>33654405
Thanks m8.
>>33654465
What did you use on the inside? I've been thinking of steel wool as a possibility.
>>33654667
A 12ga wire brush on a electric drill, followed by a 12ga cloth (the fluffy one) brush that I had coated with this stuff, also on a electric drill. You could try a dowel with some 600 grit sand paper though, since I doubt you have diamond paste available.
>you will never buy a nugget for $99 again
i got mine for a $100 bill 5 years ago when i was 18
>>33654743
>18
I'm too fucking old for this place.
What are the odds my 1944 m44 saw battle?
On those ww2 metal detector scavenger hunts they seem to find a lot of burried m44s from the war.
>>33654727
Sounds good thanks. I have those things minus the diamond paste.
>>33655024
You're just trying to smooth the metal out, not take any off and make it sloppy. Start slow and use water.
>>33654796
How beat to hell is the metal?
