Black soldiers fought for many European nations as well as the United States. The problem is the way BF 1 did it is disrespectful and wrong.
Instead of highlighting men such as the Indians and Arabs fighting for/with the British, French colonists, and German Askari and giving much deserved attention to their feats, they were all lumped together on the Western Front with homeland forces.

Not giving them recognition and respect for what they did. Just using them because the makers felt obligated to.

DICE straight up says that most of the guns were either prototypes or phased out. The only reason they're in the game is so you don't have 64 people sitting on their ass for 30 minutes taking pot shots with Enfields and Springfields. Especially since DICE's target audience are teenagers and young adults, not historians.

Yes, in two planes so to speak. While video game war is going to be much different from real war so I wouldn't call it inaccuracy(it's just inherent feature) it fucks up other things.

First of them is weaponry. You can clearly see that they didn't want to alienate people who played other battlefields, and so it's forgotten weapons - the game. Only one class uses bolt-actions as a rule for instance.

This contributes to the game being absolutely head-on retarded when it comes to historical depiction of the war from gameplay perspective. Everybody who played Red Orchestra games figures out that WW1 version of the game would feature 100 times more melee combat because of bolt gun limitations and relative lack of automatic weapons to discourage melee. This is not the case in BF1 because only snipers(scouts) have bolt guns, the rest has either SMG's, semi-auto rifles or machineguns

The second is obvious SWEDEN YES in form of silly ideas like black German soldiers(never fought in Europe for reasons like - Germany couldn't get them through British blockade! Racist British blockade) and generally being strangely heavily basketball-american in ethnic make-up, what did you expect from Swedes though?

Chans generally aren't very susceptible to this though, unless they will be so numerous that they'll be able to shift the general mood to the point where real actual, posters will simply quit.
