They also would prefer an Islamic ummah rather than the tribal nationalism that the Taliban espouses

If anyone ripped off anything, its the US ripping off the UK. We copied thier Grand Slam in late ww2. However, we did step it up to over 40,000 with the T-12. Only had it for 5 or so years after ww2, but it would be nice to still have it around today.
