>All overseas US Forces are withdrawn to the mainland and all hardware is available for use (i.e. all ships, planes and submarines etc are available for service and not in maintenance).
>Every single country in the world (except the US obviously) collectively decides to invade the USA

Can the USA hold off the attack?

Scenario 1 - Sea Invasion: Canada and Mexico remain neutral (no forces can be moved through either country)
Scenario 2 - Sea & Land Invasion: Canada and Mexico also decide to invade

No nuclear, chemical or biological weapons allowed
>>
Scen 1:
Nothing makes it across the oceans alive. USA survives.

Scen 2:
Nothing makes it across the oceans alive. Mexico and Canada become US property
>>
>>33640756

Scenario 1 would be incredibly difficult. Contrary to popular belief, the US still has incredible manufacturing abilities and can easily supply most of their equipment in house. It's also the third most populous nation on the planet and the numbers and quality of equipment are still very good. Trying to get a ground invasion in strictly through the sea would be next to impossible without getting detected and intercepted. Same applies for trying to fly forces in.

Scenario 2 would play out similarly to scenario 1. Unfortunately for Mexico and Canada there are many bases near the border and they would get bombed into submission within minutes or hours of declaring war. The US doesn't really need to control the countries directly, just their coasts.
>>
>>33640756
Scenario 1: Best case scenario. Shit ton of artificial reefs are now strewn about the Atlantic and Pacific. Worst case, we have to ship dead bodies back to their home country because they're clogging up the coastline.
Scenario 2: Best case, we gain two new countries. Worst case, we have to ship dead bodies back to their home country. And make them pay for it.
>>
>>33640777
FPBP.
>>
Scenario 1: Our coasts would get the occasional bomb slipping through, but apart from that we would be fine

Scenario 2: If the combined forces somehow make it further inland, then they have to worry about Bubba and his hunting rifle behind every other tree.

We'll win either way and make the whole world great again.

For shits and giggles lets say that there are 250 million tv owners. Probably more, and probably own multiple tvs. Now what about suppliers? Surely there would be stocks in stores that, if not match, at least come close to that number. You're telling me that all of those will break a week after an invasion?

If you know your history you would know that the reason Germany lost the war is because they fought the Allies on the Western front and the Russians on the Eastern front. A two front war can tire a country out. If Canada invades from the north Mexico from the South, North Korea from the West, the European Union from the East then the US would collapse because they are fighting on all these fronts.

We lose.

History proves that decline sets in when empires have taken defensive postures. A cautious mentality is caused by lowered vitality. Our spirits are high! It's not a show!

Look at Britain! Look at any former empire! It will happen to us. Is it cheap theater, slogans, flag waiving, and shopping?

You had better watch this little girl sing the Star Spangled Banner to make sure:

There isn't enough aircraft in the rest of the world designed for non permissive environments to be able to control the skies.

There isn't enough naval power in the rest of the world combined to contest us in blue water.

>Can the USA hold off the attack?

Right now, absolutely yes, in both scenarios.

But I'd ALSO say that if "everyone else" united, used more money for military research and had 5-10 years to build logistics and manufacturing in Canada and Mexico while US was heavily economically sanctioned, the results would be devastating.

In real life, Europeans don't spend that much on military, US is a trusted ally and whatever Russians are thinking of is probably related to superpower status and buffer countries.

But if you remove whatever is between EU and Russia and combine the technological know-how and resources (which has never happened), the fact is that there are enough smart people elsewhere to rival US tech in, say, 5-10 years if ample funding is OK'd.

Considering...

The entire worlds naval forces combined is still about 25times smaller the US solo, and those ships are not loaded with state-of-the-art systems and weapons

And...

The entire worlds airforce combined cannot hold a candle to our shock and awe air power doctrine, also givin that our gen5 planes have defeated our old gen4 planes in 1v5 /2v10 scenerios...with ease.. i dont think a mig from the 80s is going to contest us.

So we are pretty fucking secure.

And if somehow, someway we have to fight a land battle. You have to remember that the strongest most populated standing army in the world is the US civillian rifleman. A gun in every window, behind everytree, along everyroad.

I think we will be fine

minuteman missiles eliminate any chance of successful air or sea invasion
>scenario 1 USA wins
Texas, Nevada and SoCal citizens could hold off a Mexico invasion by themselves.
Most Northern border states could hold off Canadians. US Military would only need to be deployed in Michigan, and Washington State.
>Scenario 2 USA wins
>>
>>33645897
>Michigan
What? Michigan has only three crossings from Canada, and a hell of a lot more weapons than Minnesota or Wisconsin.

Once the trucks stop moving, inhabitants strip the shelves of grocery and convenience stores, restaurants, home improvement DIY stores, etc bare.
Same thing with hospitals, transport, communications, power, and other essential infrastructure.
Invading forces have nothing to scavenge, so must rely on long, fragile supply chains to cross our wastelands, deserts, mountain ranges, forests, etc.
You Have Died of Dysentery.

Outside of several crackpot conspiracy theories, Britain was never invaded or conquered after their Empire fell. Their internal institutions remained intact and Britain is still very much a sovereign nation in every sense of the word.
