Do you guys think we'll get some North Korea surplus if we go to war with them?
If (when) we win
>>33637341
So you really think the military would let troops send shit back home? Are war trophies still a thing?
>>33637359
Fully automatic rifles? Probably not, but I can definitely see some pistols and other semi-auto stuff coming home for sure. Maybe some of the full auto stuff would be converted. The government that takes over might like a little extra cash by exporting some guns to a market the know is enormous and gun-friendly (at least compared to other first world nations). Or, maybe I'm just talking out of my ass, idk. It'd be pretty neat to get some new, different stuff in
>>33637302
But anon, North Korea itself is surplus.
I know americans have big houses but are you sure a whole country will fit inside ?
>>33637302
no,
there is that stupid rule "once a machine gun always a machine gun"
>>33639699
doesnt apply to parts kits
destroy receiver build parts on new semi auto flat and odwalla you have a legal nork AKM
>>33637302
Do we really need more mosins?
>>33639706
Good luck getting that through ITAR
>>33637302
>North Korea surplus
dat oxymoron doe
>>33640045
good one.
>>33637359
War trophies are not still a thing. I don't even think you're allowed to bring back jars of dirt anymore, like people used to do.
>>33640119
Don't they have those funky AKMs with the wonky ass Bizon helical drum? I'd like to lose a few of those in a boating accident. They also use CZ-75 pistols, so those would be nice to hoard as well.
Honestly I'm excited. I really hope those middle-school 14 year old soldiers drop down in parachutes on my street I'm the middle of the ghetto. My nignog neighbors would mow those gooks down before I could even check the windows.
>>33640166
Niggers can't aim and you know it.
>>33639791
>Do we really need
There will never be enough. My inner Bubba demands a return to the age of 50 dollar nuggets.
>>33637302
NK has been using WW2 surplus for 70 years. It's shit.
>>33639791
>>33637359
If Korea is reunified, They would sell off most of the North Korean shit, because they would want to standardize everything. They would probably want to hold on to stuff like AA systems and the staff for them, but all the other stuff would get sold off. no problem importing pistols and mosins to America, although assault weapons are never getting in.
>>33637302
>North Korea
>surplus
Does the concept of wide spread starvation mean nothing to you?
>>33637302
If your idea of surplus is cheap knockoffs of the mosin nagants, go ahead.
I'm actually unsure if the guns these guys are holding are ceremonial or in frontline service
Okay, I dont mind North Korean ushanka (properly rid of lices of course) and one of those Helical magazine AK´s
>>33640119
Wrong. There is a DD form for trophies that neess to be signed off by your commander. I have a PGO sight with the right paperwork. Bazaars sell shit like Soviet gear and gemstones in Bagram and other bases in Afganistan.
>>33639823
>thinks ITAR blocks parts kits
>thinks parts kits aren't imported
>thinks the US takes ITAR seriously
>>33640166
My Mexican neighbors would savage them with machetes and feral goats, then sell them into sexual bondage to the Laotians down the way.
>>33640174
Kim Jong Il was a marksman, I doubt they would let conscripts get away with no shootan skills
>>33641155
Oh well carry on.
