Can anyone tell me what kind of revolver it is?
>>33636336
It's a Smith and Wesson.
>>33636336
Smith & Wesson model 10
You can be verify by unlocking the cylinder and looking beneath the crane
>>33636336
three fifty seven
baddass gun
sometimes the shells can be a bit over length, but you can place them on a flat hard surface and tap the bullets in with a hammer
feel the power! its amazing to glass bottles and watch them explode
>>33636336
Come on nugget take a picture from inside the crane already
>>33636369
>>33636369
yeah I have one too, know that feel. The short cylinder is a pain in the ass, they fixed it in later models but they were poorer quality in other places so I'm sticking with mine. Better to have to tap in bullets every now and then than deal with shit quality. And better .357 than some pussy .38
>>33636336
It's a model 10 38 special. Don't listen to the chuckleheads saying to put 357 into it.
Can someone help me identify this?
>>33636573
Looks cheap and shit. Charter Arms?
>>33636573
No its rg i just dont know what model
>>33636336
Open the cylinder, it will give you a model and serial number on the crane arm.
Looks like a Model 15-1 or 15-2 to me. .38 Special. Diamond grips are rare.
I have a 15-3 which has different sights, but they're sweet shooters.
>>33636656
Can anyone tell me when it was made?
>>33636336
Absolutely a Model 10, go pick up a box of .38 Special "wadcutters" and try it out at a range, shit's a barrel of fun.
If you're new to guns, make sure to wear earpro and observe the "Four Rules Of Gun Safety"
>>33636369
Too obvious.
>>33636573
Looks like some cheap piece of shit Röhm. They're the Saturday Night Specials of revolvers, generally most would say they are trash.
pinned barrel so probably pre 70's
>>33636685
>>33636685
Well fuck me, I guess not a Model 10, then.
>>33636721
It's really old, my great granpdas initials are engraved on it and it says pat june 5 1917
>>33636708
Rohms aren't that bad, I've killed a few ground squirrels with one of my friend's around 20 yards away
>>33636723
I think it's actually a 38 regulation police
>>33636369
>Jesus Christ
>>33636336
Model 10
Welcome to the club.
>no grandpa to inherit guns from
>>33636336
Smith and Wesson Hand Ejector
It's the ancestor to the model 10.
>>33636721
Pinned / recessed revolvers were made until 1982.
>>33636685
In 1451, are you stupid??
Hey guys the cylinder release on my inherited model 13 is a bit loose
It still works but slightly moves vertically
Should I just use a regular flat head?
Smith and Wesson dick grip model
>>33636369
I remember when I use to come to /k/ for advice and you guys didn't try to kill me....... those were good days.
>>33637026
>grandpa's guns have sat neglected in an abandoned farmhouse for over ten years
>>33637183
If it fits go for it, but you might damage the metal. Gun smith tools tend to be softer metal for a reason
>>33637278
I don't suppose they make brass flat head screw drivers then?
I definitely don't want to sctartch it
>>33637394
I haven't seen them personally, do a Google search man. Buy a gun bluing pen while you're at it to cover up any possible scratches
>>33637777
those quads though.
>>33637204
>once you see it...
>>33637982
that's why I always carry it with my mak
>>33636369
>three fiddy seven
>hit the bullet with a hammer and watch glass bottle explode
