Repost

I did plenty of time but I was in hurry plus, at that particular time I was feeling...

devilish.

not even two week ago I stopped to help lady with betty new ram 2500 series truck which turn out to be hot wife with which i found out was truck that she took for test drive when it's concealed problem which surfaced during test drive. The engine was smoking cause water got in oil, I forget what's exactly cause i'll ask my dad. She knew about the problem and was on phone with I dont know who probably her mechanically inclined husband which probably told her what he suspect the problem is.

she didnt need any help so I just pull out.

I'm wanting to mount a light on my AR, preferably somewhere in the 9-12 o'clock range on the handguard so I can press it on with my thumb. I've got a regular A2 handguard on my carbine, thinking about the BMC B5 handguard, but not sure. Should I get something I can mount to the A2, or put a new handguard on? What light/mount should I look into?

thank for the post anon.

it's shame he reload piss slow. it would have ended much sooner if he was able to reload much fast due to superior magazine placement and mental focus.

now because he didnt reload as fast he can every time the space between reload allow barrel to cools and will be very different from his reload speed in nitrided barrel video. plus the time for malfunction clearing.

but meh. in this test CL will win. CL have superior wear resistance under high heat and pressure+friction over nitrided.

you all will see.

>>33632343
rails are very visible and distinctive to me.

VISIBLE.

they are often on raised large bump in road. although there's one thats at bottom of hill but its multi tracks (even more visible) and cause i'm higher i have point of vantage which allow me clearly see them.

the spacing in concrete for the steel rail are big.

If you can see black rubber hose or a snake on road afar you can see rails.

>>33632374
> WHAT ARE REAR VIEW MIRRORS?

i see them coming before people hear them.

I even see majority of cops before they see me.

>>33632383
those arent on all deaf people's license. The question they asked me was something like "Do you have any condition that would affect your driving and communication with police officer?" and i answered "no" based on this logic "lack of hearing doesnt bar my ability safety drive nor to communicate with LEO" because I would still be able to communicate with LEO by pen n paper. Plenty LEO now know basic signs.

I have prepped documents and card to show and prove my deafness to LEO. I already know the routine and what to do when getting pulled over.
>>
I think most of you retards flailing at deaf people driving here because you are a shitty driver that get distracted.

I strictly dont use phone and avoid talking with passengers when driving. When driving I put 100% of my mind on it. I actively practice defensive driving. I check my mirror and look around frequently when driving. So often that when I need to change lane immediately due to grossly slowed down car when turning I already know if I'm clear or not. If I look to check I would be checking for third or fourth time. I'm excellent driver, zero ticket, zero warning, and zero accident (although i had plenty close calls that I would had been totally fucked if i hadn't practice defensive driving for about 5 years now.

My parent's excellent drivers, both of them. I had hell of teacher atop great driving ed teacher.

Real talk my atlas is beast. Do reccomend. I do not know much about Harris bipods
>>
>>33632739
The military uses Harris. That speaks for a good deal.

Also consider a 2x7 or 3x9 Burris scope. They are nice and bright and made in America and have a lifetime warantee, and last I checked are just barely within your price range.
>>
>>33632739
Harris is best for SPR type guns so you can fast deploy. Atlas better for 308 and precision type guns, more flexibility but slower to deploy. V8 is also $100 more expensive. Try ebay. You can get it for under $300 there on sale with adm mount.

can confirms to degree, I owned burris FF ii 2-7x35 cost me maybe $200 but they are like $170 new now. The glass's bright yeah but it's not nearly perfect. It's reticle, the ballistic plex line up great with some 223/5.56. the reticle is simple and neat. but i remember my crosshair at top or bottom had flaw but it didnt affect function. the turrent had medicore mushy clicks

I would rather you buy burris FF II 2-7x35 scope over bipod if you dont have optic or even better put the gift card toward better scope such as vortex PST line or burris XTR II.

i would actual rather that. I dont know how PSA's now but i was very happy with one i had.

I put 3.8k thur her before selling her for exact same price I paid for her at black friday, it sold quick too.

TOP KEK! the price was exactly $300

and around feb i saw that guy selling the upper atop a lower claiming barrel's barely shot to quote his knowledge /quote what a lying fuck. I specifically told him exact round count which's THOUSANDS OF ROUNDS i let him slip by tho cause we have built a relationship.

jeeze!

I must have following Spec parts

16" barrel CHF&CL carbine gassed (for you, go with middy)
158CM bolt HPT/MPI

I rather accept off color anodizing that PSA have over propriety parts ruger ar556 have.

Well anyway, to answer your question, muzzle devices on the more expensive end often enable some kind of accessory mounting such as silencers, linear comps, blast diffusors, or muzzle brakes. In other cases, the effectiveness of said MD can warrant a higher than mkt average price (like B.E Meyers with their 249 flash hider).

Commercial companies would tailor the rifles to be more desirable to more people

Do you think the US military alone really made everything you enjoy about the AR? Look at the M16A2, that's what happens when you let governments alone take on the task of "upgrading" something. Important developments are either sourced out to private companies and subsidized or developed for commercial market and then taken on by the military

Both I suppose. 13" is lighter and sometimes looks better imo. I'm an indecisive little bitch when it comes to ARs. I have a very hard time picking parts and deciding on what I want to build.

I kinda like that...
>>
>>33634465

>>
>>33634914
I don't work in gun R&D how would I know? If I was going to do any of this in the first place I'd probably start off from scratch and incorporate some sort of modularity to the stock and handguard. But most bullpups are from a time when that wasn't a thing and the few new bullpups we have build off existing systems

All of this implies there's anything wrong with the AUG anyways, which there isn't. The countries fielding them just have no fucking money. If firearm development and fielding was dependent on efficiency and effectiveness and not money there'd be 0 militaries doing what they do now

Why weren't you impressed? Mk13/4 look weird to be either way. I think the mk14 will look very good, provided that you get a black 13". FDE was so 2010-2017, and instead of looking "golden" like I wished, it now looks like crap/dirt. Black is always classic. And if we invade NK soon, prepare for OD to be back.
>>
>>33635130
if you just change the gas setting without changing loads or adding a suppressor or anything like that the ejection would have to change, especially with 5.56 there's significantly less gas going back

>>
>>33635192
Really the only benefit I see over slr is that the screw won't seize up. Also the bleed off jet can damage wraps if you use them. Search the arfcom/m4 thread I forgot which. If I'm really worried about the screw seizing, I'd buy the titanium version of slr, or just follow maintenance instructions like they say to put a drop of oil on it once in a while and screw it in and out.

From videos online it does do something, one guy had 10db reduction w m193
>>
>>33635208
If he's shooting with it tuned to unsuppressed and getting perfect 3 o clock ejection (I'll just use that as an example because I have no idea where his particular rifle ejects) wouldn't bleeding off some of the gas undeniably cause symptoms of undergassing?
>>
>>33635226
The benefit is that your gun won't become massively over gassed because you put a suppressor on it

Picture the front part without mlok and that's mk14. Mk13 is too ALG v2 esque in the front maybe that's why. Mk14 will be better I think. We'll see. Mk8 is good looking but too thick to be ideal. The only part I don't quite like about mk13/14 is the barrel nut area. Waiting to see what Guyslee actually did to the barrel nut.

Your war upper + slr combo probably works better than this. The mbell video shows there's almost just as much blow back, so that means it doesn't auto adjust as well as it claims. You still have to manually tune it.

>>
>>33635342
I like that it vents gas forward
>>
>>33635302
Open the front take down pin, assuming you couldn't get it forward, which you can.
>>
>>33635342
You can try a jp scs. It is more consistent so you won't need as much gas to run it. Or get a micro moa govnor. That way you'll have perfectly tuned gas every time.
>>
>>33635342
You talking about adjustable gas blocks?
Micro Moa
>>
>>33635378
I actually have a JP SCS on my 10.3 pistol length .300BLK build. It cycles subsonics perfectly fine but doesn't lock back on them which leads me to believe that in it's stock configuration it's actually a little heavier. I do have the lighter spring although I'm probably not going to try it since I'll be getting a suppressor soon. This is with my SLR block entirely open
