PIG AMERICANS, HOW CAN YOU HOPE TO DEFEND AGAINST OUR SUPERIOR PARATROOPERS?
>>
>>33631021

People who have not mastered the advanced technology inherent in the shift button should probably not be entrusted with parachutes.

Or perhaps I misunderstood and these guys are actually on a suicide mission.
>>
>>33631021
Is that... Is that a fucking bi-plane? I mean I guess it's training and saving resources, but still.

A pilot who has bailed his plan has lost his ability to contribute to the war effort and as such has entered lawful evasion/survival mode and/or POW mode when captured.

Paratroopers are actively invading forces and legitimate targets as they are full capable and objectively trying to continue the war effort.
>>

Useful against drones and observation planes, and Nork Korean aircraft.
>>
>>33631919
Only if they're aircrew in distress/hors de combat, and even then you can still engage as soon as it's apparent they aren't attempting to surrender. An offensive paradrop is a totally different matter, it's perfectly legal to gun 'em while they swing since they pose a clear and imminent threat as soon as they land.

pretty much anything today can shoot down an An-2. You'd get a lot of neat scenarios.

A soldier with a Mk.19 standing on a watchtower along the DMZ? He could bring down an An-2

A sniper with a .50 AMR? He could bring down an An-2. We need the first sniper kill of an aircraft already

though this is all moot. In the first few hours of any war with NK every one of their airfields would be blown into oblivion by USAF/ROKAF/now possibly PLAAF, the An-2's going boom with them.

AN2s are such neat little planes. I wanna turn one into the best mobile home ever.
>>
>>33634501
unless said pilot/crewman is still trying to participate in hostilities

for example, a pilot gets close to the ground and is about to be captured and draws and fires a sidearm
then the pilot is fair game, even if he ejected in distress and has not touched the ground
>>
>>33634501
Rules for U.S. civilian combatants:
Paratroopers are fair game.
Pilots and crewmen are fair game.
Medics are fair game.

That shit either has a microscopic range, or wont take off.

Nukes are fucking heavy, and I doubt very seriously that those dumb and malnourished gooks are at a tech level to engineer a bomb something the size of a "backpack nuke" (in actuality the size of an oildrum), nor would it be worth their time (though I'll admit, that has never stopped them from a whole host of dumb shit).

>>
North Vietnam used these too. They loaded a bunch of AN-2s with rocket pods and three 12.7mm machine-guns each, and drifted very slowly through Laos bombing US air control positions. On the way back a helicopter shot two of them down in a dogfight. This was the first and only time I know of where they were used in combat in Vietnam.
>>
>>33633407
Not really. Maybe an old shitty one with lots of hours on the airframe and need of an engine overhaul.
>>
I think this fits perfectly with their doctrine. After nuking the DMZ and Seoul these planes will survive the EMP after effects. Western military is so tech dependent anything not EMP hardened is useless and in the ensuing chaos you'll have chrome plated nork mo fos seeding chaos in South Korea via guerilla and attrition tactics.

Ferry tanks are a thing, though you'd need special waivers for them. You can also pull the wings off and stuff it in a shipping container too. Whichever way you go, you'll need either a special airworthiness certificate to get it registered with the FAA, or otherwise fly it under European registration with a European pilot's license (which would probably mean hiring European-certified mechanics to maintain it).

>>
Will IR missiles even track them from the rear or sides? It's going to be embarrassing if sidewinders and stingers are missing them. Old aircooled radial engines aren't hot like turbines. They would probably have to get attack helicopters to go after them since the US hates SPAAGs.

It's forbidden to shoot people who jump out of disabled planes no matter wheter they are paratroopers or crew. When they jump out of plane normally you can logically defend against them. As for this case I higly doubt there would be any troops jumping from non disabled planes so no nork hunting for you guys
>>
>>33641809
We probably should have done it as soon as it became comically easy, maybe the nineties. The longer we waited, the more difficult the reintegration process will be. Now when it happens the real world will be so insane to the Norks that they'll just stop functioning. Bad Korea will suddenly have a new quarter of their population that are basically niggers.
