Do 105 loaders go to normal cannon cocker school with army/marine guys first and then get some kind of special job training?

Do you all know how to load all the guns or is it specific to each guy?

Whats your mission playlist like?
>>
>>33614320
sry its not my pic
>>
>>33614919
Nothing of the sort
All 105 have the same propellant 7 bags of gunpowder shit and a flash tube to light them all off
Compared to when it's on the ground used as artillery they chang the charge dependant of target dkstance

We all know everything in and out of each gun

Playlist is tough, generally unpressurized while shooting so coms blows as is
>>
Do you guys wear parachutes in case you need to bail out, or are they too bulky to wear during a mission?

>>
>>33615099

>>
>>33615132
I guess that's just how it's done, but it doesn't seem like the optimal situation. Then again, I suppose having to bail out is about as bad as it can get anyway.

Have you thought about being shot down or otherwise having to bail out? Do you feel like you would be able to get out in time? You would have to hear or recognize the plane's fucked, then go grab and put the chute on, and then get outside the plane somehow.
>>
>>33614512
In that case, how's Hurby this time of year?
>>
>>33614337
I also would like to say i live further away from thr base so i like to hear the thumps in the night, im guessing Hurlburt
>>
>>33615176
Constant coms throughout the plane we know as soon as it would happen
Getting shot isn't optimal lol
We practice it on a daily routine, depending on speed and altitude yes I could get out
Takes less than 30 seconds to have it on out the door
>>
>>33615182
Best time of the year
Not too hot or humid
Fall is pretty nice too
>>
This will be the dumbest question you hear all year, but how exactly do you aim?

I take it it's on like a monitor but how do you like aim the barrel? Is it done manually or through like a joystick.
>>
>>33615535
Multiple ways
Joystick moves the gun hydraulically and you watch on tv to shoot
Can fix the gun and the pilot can aim and shoot it throuxgh his hud
>>
>>33615558
Have you seen the new MOP for the whiskies? Shits pretty cash and our new full load out with the 105 back in is fucking insane.
>>
>>33615963
I've only heard about it
It's about time the w got the 105 idk what fuck head didn't want it at first
>>
I got a couple tours of them over in afgahnistan, theyre pretty sweet. Maintance guy turned on the hud for me and sit in the pilot seat, almost made me want to be a pilot. Its crazy how much technology they pack in 60 year old airframes
Bigger planes are way cooler than fighters right now imo
>>
I've always wondered, are only the CSO/pilots allowed to fire off rounds at live targets?
>>
>>33616065
No, but yes
6 people have to agree to fire for the gun to go off
Unless a rogue runner in the back randomly lanyard fires the 40/105
>>
>>33616087
Gunner*
>>
Which is gonna be more fun to use, Bloodletter or Bowblade? I assume the Bowblade's gem grind isn't so terrible

>>33614337

>>
>>33616331
No, everyone agrees together
Super hard to shoot wrong
Tech school was fast paced with tons of hands on so thas nice
Sere is fun but shitty at the same time a good expirence with lots of useful skills
>>
>>33616336

Do students have any influence in which airframe they are assigned to?
>>
>>33616345

So how does everyone confirm, by button depression? One of your birds was open to the public for an airshow, I had a button pointed out to me on one of the side room consoles.

Do rotary and fixed wing get split up during training like the space and missile guys?

Dep wasn't too long a few months they're hurting for people so that's good
Aircrew fundies is 1a9 and some other aircrew shit for 2 weeks
Then special missions aviation class is like 9 weeks?
All together there you get your base snd airframe

The people who hold actual knowledge of global affairs do. Connecting the dots at home can be fun, but the reality is that we are a global superpower run by absolute morons, and have been since Reagan. This is the scarier truth- that instead of working for a shadow jew government, our leaders have absolutely no idea what they're doing.
>>
>>33613879
Hi gunship guy.

Would adding smart bombs/missiles/guidance pod underwings on dedicated pylons, sound like a good idea in your opinion ?

Another stupid ass question

In security forces tech school, the prior service/crosstrain people were treated MUCH differently than the first termers. I.e. different dorms, no shakedowns, lockdowns, inspections, remedial training/pt on weekends. Because we were the fuckups, they were proven troops.
Does that happen at all in 1a9 training?
>>
>>33616213
There are many people I am aware of, myself included, that will never be struck with a bow, or any type of firearm at that, beyond anything aside from point blank. And that's only if I whiff with something big. Take that for what it's worth.

If you're gonna bt, don't be a girlyman about it. It's unbecoming and you'll almost always get frustrated and resort to trying to quickdraw the chikage when it's apparent the other guy won't let you shoot him.

And regardless of build or tool, embrace the gemstone grind. It's good for you.
