>using a gun with less than 8+1 rounds for CCW
>""it's comfy!!!"
Bare minimum should be a 10+1 like a G26 or P30SK. People will make a big deal out of carrying a G19 or M&P9C because they're faggots and single stack subcompacts are for faggots.

Only fat fucks or people who dress a few sizes too large can properly conceal full sized. I'll carry my Glock 30s and not print while you try to Aiwb a full sized and look like you have an erection all day.
>>33611887
Who was talking about a fullsize? Also I've seen plenty of people aiwb Glock 17's and 34's with t shirts.
>taking advice from someone who unironically owns a G30S
Is this a CCW thread?
I just bought pic related for $500 including tax.
I've seen a lot of shit get posted about this on here recently, did I get memed?
>>33611916
I also carry a Cz Rami which is the same capacity and size as the 30s. What's your problem with it?
>inb4 anything .45 in 2017 lul
>>33611936
It's SIG so it's probably okay, just expect every flaw to be uncovered and held under a microscope so closely it'll catch fire because it's the new standard issue pistol of the military. That's probably a good thing for you.
I'll never be in a situation where I die with 7 but live with 8.
>>33612829
This.
Like 95% of self defense situations are diffused in 3 rounds or less. Carrying a single stack with 7+1 capacity means I can carry comfy in anything including well fitting t-shirts, and thus will carry more often.
I used to carry with 14+1 and the extra weight and size is pointless.
>Not carrying an extra mag
For your main CCW sure, but the backup CCW can be under 6. Your sleeve derringer on the other hand can go as low as 2 and be fine.

I go to the range and watch the wannabe's shoot a 5 inch group at 7 yards. That translates to 1 maybe 2 hits in a combat situation. I shoot a 3 inch group at 25 yds and seldom practice accuracy at a shorter distance. Shoot better and it will save your life. btw I carry a SAA 1873. yea pic related.

What ammo you using? Barrel length? Method of carry?

I guess I'm right on the cusp. I carry with 8 + 1 loaded, and then two 7 rounds.

Have fun losing all your guns when you get slapped with a felony murder charge for defending yourself at anything past 10 yards.

I just got one of these, it came with an 8-round mag and a 7-round mag in case I lose a finger or something. Where do I get these 10-round maggies?

Pricey, but worth it.
I swap between 14+1 9mm and 8+1 .45 acp

Are these reliable? It doesn't make sense for there just to be a magical spring that allows you to add another round. You'd think manufacturers would use this already if it was so good.
>>33616484
mag guts
>>33616593
It works. I've got three and they all feed well and reliably. Just don't pull up on the follower or it will fly out.
>>33611847
So how do you get the +1?
Load a mag, chamber a round. Take mag out, top off mag and reinsert it?
Call me old fashioned but having a round in the chamber is not my thing.

Pretty good
Most self defense situations outside of ones home are settled in 2. (In 2012 but oh well.)
