My state is just in the process of legalizing SBRs but honestly I don't know if I will bother with the Mpx. This thing is a blast to shoot and I can carry it across state lines without ATF notification ( unlike a registered sbr)

That brace looks great to be honest. I just finished SBR'ing a vector and love it to death and was probably gonna pick an MPX up to round out my subgun collection...

Barrel cut and rethreaded to 1/2x28 and added a 3-lug mount. Hand guard chopped as well. Several guys on the Sig MPX FB pages specialize in them. Got both done for $160.

"short barrel rifle" allows you add combination of stock and foregrip you like, "any other weapon" only allows you to add a foregrip

adding a "verticle" foregrip to a gun sold to you as a pistol is illegal without NFAing it.
