The XC1 isn't bad, I did more research after I talked to the hater. They use triple A batteries. A very shitty and unstable battery that also doesn't have strong consistent output.

In order to make the XC1 good and functional you should change your battery after every 3 range trips, or every three months. If you train with this light like you should, you really need to change it monthly as it only has a 1.5 hour bat life.

The only real negative to those lights is their cheap aluminum screw, and their crappy crossbolt switch.

I do have to wear "stiff shirts" (well don't have to but they never print, thin soft shirts print a little in the wind n shit)
