Also, travel expenses, so all in all you're looking at ~1500 minimum to attend a course, and I doubt they let people bring an SKS to the carbine course.

I've heard he actually puts out really bad classes. Things like too much downtime, talking more than he shoots and ontop of the fact that better instructors offer cheaper courses than he does.

This is coming from someone who was pretty much infatuated with him. I would rather take a class with someone like Darryl Bolke, Ernest Langdon, Tom Givens or Mike Pannone.

It would really suck balls if you spent nearly $1,000 on a class only to have a part break on your gun, resulting in you having to sit out for the rest of whatever is left of the class. You should at the least have a spare BCG if you cannot afford a spare upper or complete rifle.

tl;dr: Don't go for the guy who charges $800 for a sub-par class if you're a poorfag and go with someone more reputable that will come by somewhere you can travel to without catching a flight.

All you need is a reliable firearm, a holster, a shot timer, and ammo. Get out there and practice the fundamentals because that's literally all there is to it.
