Mine is 4815 rounds atm. At its peak it was about 5600.
Bonus points if it is stacked autistically
Old pic but yeah. Assorted calibers, north of 10K rounds across the board, mostly .223/5.56 (about 3k of that). About 1.5k~ of both 9mm/.45 and then other shit.

pretty outdated pic, basically only shoot 9x19 so that stuff is a revolving door by the case or two or three.

I'll be the guy with the dirty carpet and the orange lockers. Then you can razz me right back.

>500 62gr SP 223
>300 62gr green tip 223

no pics, cause no. but I will give a run down.
.22lr around 3k
9mm around 2.5k
.40 around 400
.223 around 500
5.56 around 2.5k

>>33589261
Too lazy to take pics of other but here's my 54r
>>33589978
I love that brown box Hornady. Shit is as good as my dwindling supply of grandpas hand loads. It's hard to find around here though.
>>33589930
I actually hand load my ammo. I've been doing it for a few years and get better velocity standard deviations and reliability than the factory stuff I used to buy . This is true even with the stuff I bulk product like the 9mm.
Those 75gr rounds are accurate AF and I can hit 1k yards fairly easily with pic related.
It's nice and shiny because I tumble it in walnut shell before loading and tumble in corn cob after loading.
Someone on some site used a pic of my family's stockpile.
>>33590154
Honestly anything in a basement or below ground setting you want 5 inches to 1 ft off the floor. Cement tends to hold water like a sponge and will be soaked into your wood crates rotting them and rust the cans.
>200 .177 pellets
t-thanks for the universal healthcare though canada
>>33590241
This was after we had moved everything from a dinky little shed into the basement. We have like 6 pallets now.
>>33590385
Nice. People sometimes forget simple things like cement and moisture. They do this with plastic water jugs that get contaminated. They will put dry packs in the cans but then forget about the rest of the care. Like put them near a window with blinds, while no one can see in easily, the sun still is on the metal can 5-6 hours a day cooking it.

Apparently I only have a pic of some of my food supply, not my ammo.
>>33590527
You may want to invest in some home depot food grade buckets with screw top lids. It is not a lot of $, talking about $12-15 per bucket with lid. Not debating your method as not many would know food is in there, just a more moisture proof storing suggestion. Then add a moisture pack and o2 pack, bam. good to go for 2-3 years.
>>33590665
Thanks. I'll look into that. I'm just a beginner "prepper" so I'm sure I'm doing something wrong or could at least do it better.
>>33590751
It's more like nukes or other event happens and I'm at work. Never make it home. 5 years later a starving prepper finds my stash. I want him to think I am a bro for doing it right so it is still good. He lives another few years.

When storing an ammo can with a bag of dessicant (desi-pak) do you just toss the bag of pellets in there (not opened) or is there a way to 'activate' it?

It was designed before widespread use of carbines became a thing and POGs weren't trusted to use pistols, it found a nich with bodygaurds but thats because they need to CC and they have full giggle more often than not. They are fun guns but you have to admit they are a unicorn for a reason.

>>33601027
for CQB, I would take a P90/PS90 SBR over pretty much anything. This is from personal experience. I own a 5 inch barrel 9mm AR SBR, a 5.56 AR SBR with a 10.5 inc barrel, a 300BLK AR with an 8.4 inch barrel, and a B&T APC9 SBR.
PS90 SBR is shorter, has a greater mag capacity, and the rounds (Elite ammo if you really want to kill someone) WILL penetrate anything below LVL4 and maybe LVL3+.
>>33600839

180 reloaded spicy 357 fmj
24 factory softpoinr 357 boolits loaded in speedloaders.
36 9mm loaded in 2 cz 75 mags.
15 3006 rounds.
50kg of cement.
100 shots of canadian 22lr from the 70s.
25 birdshot loaded into a bandolier sling on my 870.
Basically i blasted my entire stash of reloads last range trip, leaving only essentials.
I have a pretty significant stash of reloading components.
Anyone use those 50 or 100 round ammo boxes (made by Berry's, MTM, etc) inside of a 50-cal ammo can? I'm semi OCD and don't like filling my cans with loose rounds. I'm wondering how many of the 223/556 sized boxes I can fit inside. I can't find any actual outer dimension measurements.
