I have a very basic AR I built from an 80% last year. I really just needed to get it made before it became illegal since I'm in Cali. Got a PSA MOE 16inch upper, and a magpul fixed stock. I had to replace the pistol grip with a little nub thing that blocks your thumb so it's not so scary.

I learned that the carry handle was actually just a shroud for the old charging handle which was prototyped on top. The scope also mounts there. But it's unnecessary and heavy now. You can get an A2 rear sight for $12 online that functions the same without the extra weight
