there are heavy duty stun guns for use with cattle. they have however a limiter on how frequent they can apply a shock. if you can disable those it might yield a practical and useful stun gun.

Stun guns are useless

I was curious so went into a store selling all of them, from cigarette box sized ones to torches, batons etc and tried about 5-6 different models against my left shoulder muscle from the lowest power one to the highest. Not one has any more kick than a low powered cattle fence and I would be fully able to tear your neck open if you used one on me even if you held it for ten seconds.

Now pepper spray...that works. You can sure get a bit used to it but it will still be fucking someone up a few minutes after enough to help you put them down.


A pickaze handle I better than any stun baton and those extensible batons are shit to they will break after a few whacks just like your stun baton

The less lethal guns that fire blackpowder rubber balls are quite good though. Like a full on punch from a strong guy

I would like to quantify that.

They are useless as weapons HOWEVER the crack of the spark arc is very intimidating and for those that don't know they are useless MAY help stop a situation getting violent. Beyond that useless.

The gut in the store was literally open mouthed when I tested them on myself but I've no interest in carrying one without knowing what it will do to someone I use it on.

You can build an immunity to pepper spray, and some people are naturally more immune than others.

You can build a resistance or be born with a resistance to a proper electroshock weapon like a Taser, though.
